Its seems to me that those who went direct to Natwest are hearing faster on progress. Those of us who went through a MA are not being fed back...and we are paying for this ??:(0 -

Ah, my fault for using the term "MA" possibly in the wrong context - I applied in branch directly, full app was done with the Natwests own Mortgage Advisor0 -

Yep the 9th!
I did have to wait about 2 weeks to get an appointment in branch mind you.
The mortgage advisor in Natwest said that their current turn around times for underwriting decisions is about 3 working days and about 2.5 weeks to full offer.0 -

That's amazing, good to hear you had a quick and painless experience - gives me hope yet!0 -
We have used an independent MA. I had to keep chasing for an answer. We applied just before you (and a bank holiday) only heard on the 6th that we had passed subject to valuation. I had to chase them for that info. The estate agent for our sellers told me 2 days later that the valuation was booked. Seems they move quick once its passed.I was told its a 7 working day wait for processing so bet you hear tomorrow0

Thanks, I hope so! ...as stressful as all this is, I just hope it's worth it! I've become a paranoid mess that rejection is on the horizon!0 -

Hopefully you'll hear soon! Have you tried calling the processing centre directly? Just thinking they may be able to give you a bit of more of an update rather than your MA.0 -

Thanks, I haven't tried as I've not a number for the centre (I'd gladly call them if I had one though!)0 -
I was the same..a mess. Then we heard we were ok.. ahh the relief..then of course you start to worry about not getting the valuation you want..and so it begins again...lol !0
