I am going to apply through a broker this week, and as all of my documents are online I want to have all I need ready.
Thank you
Hey Claire my broker asked for 3 month's payslips, 1 month's bank statement, p60, proof of id and proof of address for both of us. I dont know if this is just my broker making sure he totally covers himself with anything they may ask for or if Halifax requested all of these! Good luck hun keep us updated!0 -

3 months payslips
Info on credit agreements (cards, loans etc - I was asked info about the amount outstanding on my student loan, even thought it is deducted from my salary)
I took my monthly budget planner with me also to show I'd given affordability some thought.
To be fair, I didnt really notice that much difference than from when I went for an AIP/application last year..... apart from they have to read a script/statement to you.0 -
Soooo further update....
28/03/14 - Solicitors advised we should back out of said property due to previous owners being in negative equity
29/03/14 - Went to see a new build property and put down a reservation fee
We then looked into the Help To Buy scheme applied for this
17/04/14 - We got confirmation we have been accepted for the HTB scheme
23/04/14 - Our mortgage application went in with Nationwide and today I have received emails confirming valuation is booked for 25/04/14.
This is way too much of a stressful process. I thought it went too smoothly first time around!!!! Soo I am back in the waiting game
02/05/14 - We were advised incorrect address was put on the valuation so had to be resubmitted
06/05/14 - Email to say Satisfactory valuation received
