Delighted! These boards prepare you for the worst, but it was incredibly smooth sailing and stress-free for the most part. Nationwide have been great! Only 6 working days from full application to offer. Looking at completion next month when its ready0 -

6 days! I wish mine would be that quick! My MA didn't suggest Nationwide but that may be because I don't have a big enough deposit...0 -

I wish mine was 6 days too, we are waiting to hear any day now, Santander have confirmed they have all the documents they need and that it is with underwriters. Today I'm feeling just fed up with the whole thing.
Our broker isn't the best - I think next time I'll just dump my principles at the door, as I thought it best to use someone local to keep money in local area. To be fair, fee isn't payable until completion for broker, but they aren't very pro active.
Today is the first day our lovely rental has seemed more appealing than all this waiting. Maybe I'll just go and spend the deposit on a very flash new car...0 -

I've seen so many comments about people having a MPI with Natwest then being offered less when the full offer comes. I'm sick with worry now!
Has anyone had an MIP from Natwest then been offered the same amount on a full offer?0 -
im in exactly same boat as you 3 1/2 weeks till move day and still not heard - survey carried out on 10/3 looked at 13/3 apparently back with underwriters again - Broker says next couple of days - I hope so im getting so anxious.
Broker phoned yesterday - Mortgage offer on its way and all agreed - yipee! Just need to get missives concluded now.0 -

It is not until full application they get the full picture.
Brokers who apply using the MTE system get a fully-scored decision, but not via the NatWest website, or direct AFAIK.I am a mortgage broker. Did my application with Nat West 3 weeks ago today after AIP.
Not heard anything from Nat West whatsoever - apparently earliest it will be looked at is Fri 21st, my MB is frustrated too.
What will be, will be I guess - but I am not wasting anymore time thinking about - I just want to know YES or NO0 -
