You’ll never guess what @gem83 i asked my husband to message our broker this morning and he received a call to say he thought he had told me. But 15 minutes after I messaged him on Tuesday Halifax sent through the offer 🤣🥳. 

Such a relief!! Please keep me updated with your progress though! 

So for anyone else wondering the timeline here is ours: 

14/05 AIP with Halifax

19/05 Full application submitted.

19/05 Valuation booked for 8/6

8/06 Valuation done

8/06 Offer issued

Hi everyone, 

Im in middle of a application to barclays, my broker applied on the 5th of june and hard check was done and also a desktop valuation.
I got a email from my broker that barclays have emailed asking for one document, this was on the 8th of june and the document was sent back the same day.
On the email when they asked for the document they said we need this to make our final decision.
The document was to sign and give my solictor details. 
My broker said he called barclays today and they said they had received the document now just waiting to make a final decision.
Does all this indicate i will get a offer or am i getting ahead of myself? I have been declined 2 weeks ago from newcastle building society so this is my last chance to get a morgage.
I just hope and pray i don't get rejected again because its one of the worst feelings.

Hiya, wondering if anyone can help me, I had a mortgage approved by underwriters at the start of the week and we went to chase the offer today as we haven’t been sent it out and they said it was in a queue to be issued by a senior underwriter!? Does anyone know what this means? And why? At the start of the week they said it was going to the mortgage centre so I’m not sure why this has happened!?

My mortgage offer was approved within 9 days of my application. My buyer, who is 3 weeks further into the process than I am, had a problem with the first mortgage application (not affordability) and has had to remove and then reapply slightly differently. We're now nearly 8 weeks into the sale and I'm getting nervous. The latest mortgage application was sent in 8 days ago but a valuation on my house still hasn't been requested.
Are people finding valuation requests taking a while? I am nervous about needing another buyer because I would almost certainly lose my onward purchase which is forever home (and I'm not just saying that. I have had my eye on the location for years).
