    Hi Kingstreet

yes it's a paper application (porting some of it to HTB) does that mean its not on NFI online?

Yeah. Ported cases are paper apps and aren't done online. You get an "M3----" application number, while NFI cases are "M5---" numbers.

That's why you haven't got an emailed copy then. Everyone is waiting for the post!

Saying which, I'm sure our "SSA" newbuild troubleshooter has got us a faxed copy of an offer when we needed it on a newbuild paper case.

    Nat West

    27/2 AIP
    28/2 Application made
3/3 documents sent to Nat West

10/3 spoke to MB - won't have any news until 14/3

I thought Nat West were quick!!!!

Well today got an email from MB saying Nat West require my bank statement form 28/12/13 - 02/01/14 ???? thats 4 days missing. Nat West underwriting really can't be on the ball, my Santander bank statement was on 2 pages, I had no transactions between these dates. Doh!

    MB explained this to them.

Over 2 weeks now since application was put and I am still none the wiser.

Its the weekend now and it really annoying me now.

    Not happy.

    Who told you that?

At the moment, it is taking them three working days to issue an application number after a case is submitted.

Then, it takes them several days to undewrite the case and instruct the valuer.

    Our last case;-

    App date 23/2

BDM got us app number 25/2

    All docs faxed 25/5

App number provided by usual email 26/2

Told case would be underwritten by Fri 28/2 - not achieved

Asked NatWest to instruct valuer at our risk 28/2 as not yet underwritten

    Valuer instructed 3/3

    Valuation done 6/3

Surveyor off sick and return of report delayed until 11/3

    Offer issued 12/3.

Seventeen days is not great and it could have been done more quickly IMHO.
