Just wanted to give info on my situation with Nationwide for anyone who just applied, which has turned out really well and quick!

I applied last wednesday afternoon as a FTB with my partner, payslips and p60 were requested so I went into my local branch on the friday morning for them to copy and send in the copies. A couple of amendments were then required on their end (no input from me needed and didn't affect the offer) that took up yesterday, then this morning got a text and email to say They have now issued a formal offer. Overall it took 5 working days from start to finish which im very happy with. Just hope the rest goes just as smoothly

I'm still waiting with natwest apparently it's with underwriters :(

Underwriters came back today to say passed all credit checks they have now asked for proof of our deposit (which is fine we have it) and asked the surveyors for a transcript of the home report ( Scottish sale) no idea what that means or how long it will take...

My MA says I can out my flat on the market for rental as all should be fine but I'm not so sure until I actually have the official offer!

Got a proposed conclusion date of 17/04. Here's hoping!

Just shows how different processes are with the same people, I applied with natwest same time as you and I've had nothing agreed yet!

MA rang us earlier and said everything has come back okay! Sooo...
    13/03/2014- AIP agreed with Halifax!

They had to manually credit score each of my address as I had moved slot in the last few years but all is ok!

They would like to see proof of deposit and 3 months payslips each, full application to be done Monday but as it was already manually credit scored shouldn't need to be done again!

Brilliant! Now just to wait for the actually valuation and offer.

    FINGERS CROSSED!

Have you any news on yours? I thought mine had been sent to underwriters on Monday but turns out hadn't! Spoke to MA and she said there was a query re type of survey. It's now been put in queue today. And the wait goes on....
