still waiting for Nationwide to say yay or nay
we are meant to exchange early next week and complete next Friday, if they delay over the weekend now it will all fall down again. :mad:Spreadsheet-obsessed.0 -
Have you rang them? They were pretty helpful each time I rang and stuck to their timeframes that they told me0

no, I have a broker, so he rings them

From the point the offer is issued it takes a week to ten days for the paper offer to get to the borrower and solicitor. Due in no uncertain terms to Nationwide posting things second class!charleyroo wrote: »still waiting for Nationwide to say yay or nay

Once it is offered, make sure your broker gets a soft copy off NFI Online, forwards to you and to solicitor and tells the solicitor to access the docs they will need via the Lawyers section on the Nationwide website.
Solicitors can obtain CoT, Mortgage Deed etc here;-

I had a case offered on 11 December last year and it completed on 20 December, despite the paper offer not arriving due to nationwide and the Christmas mail.I am a mortgage broker. Thanks Kingstreet thats invaluable advice. My broker said he's expecting the docs to arrive by Tuesday so assume he's doing that or maybe putting faith in the system lol.

Have you got your copy, so you can make sure it's right?

Is there any particular reason they haven't downloaded it from NFI Online for themselves and you?charleyroo wrote: »haha Kingstreet you sound so distrusting
