Coming towards end of the 4th working day now and heard nothing. I'm guessing this could be pretty normal?0 -
Why is it weekends take an eternity when waiting for a decision!? Hahah0

They normally go so quickly but they seem to drag now! 🤣0 -
Got my offer by email yesterday; over the moon.
This site has been great but i think it adds to the anxiety reading others experiences and painting a picture

Valuation yesterday (20th).Turnaround on valuation is 4 days so hoping for the ok on Monday or Friday.Trying not to stress. This is the second time we’ve tried to buy this place so I am pretty sure the conveyancing will be ok. Just the mortgage offer to get approved. Hoping the seller doesn’t get cold feet waiting (unlikely... we have moved as fast as possible on all this!)Mortgage approved 26th October!Happy dance!Good luck to everyone else waiting for decisions!Mortgage - £274,000 to pay

2 weeks tomorrow since full application, still waiting for documents to be marked as ‘complete’ on the tracker. Valuation was done yesterday and have been told that was all fine so should have an update on Friday that it will be going to offer stage.0

Applied on the 10th. Documents sent a week later.
Rbs tracker has marked then all as ticks 'this action is complete'. Not sure if this means theyre acceptable or whether we will receive questions on then later.
The bottom says we have instructed a valuation report and will await survey results.
Waiting game.0 -

Hi. So I am a first time poster!
Currently and anxiously waiting on a mortgage approval from Natwest. Originally was told by MB would take about 2 weeks but then I thought with the volume of mortgages and survey requests at the moment it would take longer.
Currently on week 3 as of today! Application went through on the 7th October for a Single mortgage application, we are married.
Natwest wanted an extra 5k deposit that originally stated in AIP which wasnt an issue.
So far dates are
7th Oct- Mortgage app submitted
12th Oct- valuation instructed (new build)
21st Oct- payslips ticked
Emailed advisor to ask how long it will take for the approval, with a reply to say that the application process is going well.
And now I wait for next update. Its killing me!0
