23 working days for us too.Harria01 said:
23 working days for me, consultant gave an estimated 26 working days but i reckon looking at everyone elses dealings it could be 30 working days plus!xMeganCL said:33 working days, still nowhere with Nationwide!Other than the hard search have you had anything else done so far?0 -
i have 2 lots of searches on credit report by nationwide, one at time of application and then again 5 weeks later. now on working day 23 from finalising applicationTonyw193 said:
Just checked the timescales today and its gone from 20 days to 22 for an offer... Hopefully you should hear this week. I just noticed theyve made 2 hard credit searchs so making some progress and the valuation is tomorrow.xMeganCL said:Working day 19 waiting for nationwide0 -
We applied for the same product.KieranB1996 said:
I’ve also put in with Coventry for 10% LTV on 15th. Coventry were doing a 2 day offer for 10% so got our application in before the deadline. Nervously waiting... would the lockdown restrictions play any part of them declining it and deciding against 10% deposits now?RTC87 said:Application went in with Coventry Building Society 15th October
Can see hard checks on my Clearscore record on the 16th.
I'm hoping this will be pretty straight forward although we are after 90% LTV. Anyone know Coventry times at the moment?Have you heard anything back from them yet?
We were notified that they now have everything they need (had to send my partners P60 as she was furloughed but now back at work) so it has gone to the underwriter and the valuation has been booked although don't know when for. Annoyingly in the letter the sent us my partners first name is wrong, so had to contact the MA today to get that change, on my credit report it now also shows I'm financially linked to the wrong named person, hoping that fixes itself when they correct it.0 -

Hello. Helpfully, it says this in the NatWest tracker. I also rang Legal and General who confirmed they received the instruction.hema123456789 said:

And yet another obstacle came up yesterday on our mortgage application with NatWest, which pushed the decision date of at least another 2 weeks.
Since I am an IT contractor, our mortgage application has been passed on to a unit that specialises in dealing with contractors. Not sure they're going to approve our mortgage application now given that my contract ends in a few weeks. Both my partner and I are frustrated, stressed and underwhelmed by the whole experience so much so that we're leaning towards withdrawing our mortgage application.
It'a pretty ridiculous how my partner, who earns around 30k a year is not a problem for the lender because she in permanent employment; on the other hand, I am a problem because I'm a contractor soon to be out of work, despite having earned on average 105k a year as a contractor and not having been unemployed for almost 10 years.

I think our valuers (connells) have received the instruction but have not booked anything in yet! Have sent a text to the vendors estate agent saying if he calls they’ve advised they’ll book it in quicker if he reached out but not sure if he will....0 -
Yes, however I rang NatWest and they gave me the reference number which I put into the mortgage tracker website a long with the main applicant surname and DoB.hema123456789 said:

We’ve done the same. The house builder has contacted Connells in an effort to expedite the process a little.

Can you track your mortgage yourself even if you've used a mortgage advisor to apply? I've applied with Halifax through my Mortgage Advisor but would love to be able to see where I am at without bugging my Advisor every day. x0

It's your mortgage and the broker is your client. Therefore you are entitled to progress updates from the lender. That being said I can't vouch for all lenders however NatWest had no problem giving me updates and the references numbers to track the mortgage. I would ring Halifax - the only thing I'd advise against is to do or say anything that could interrupt the work the broker has been doing for you. A progress update should be fine though.janoid19 said:Can you track your mortgage yourself even if you've used a mortgage advisor to apply?
