We are waiting on our offer to. Full application submitted to Halifax on 14th September. Informed we were offer subject to valuation. The Valuation took place on 6th October. We were told by broker that on 9th October Halifax had updated Illustration. However, still no offer. I am not sure what updating the illustration means nor what we are now waiting on. Hopefully will hear offer been issued soon.

NatWest 75% FTB with HTB loan here, patiently waiting but timeline so far is below:
Broker DIP - 25/9
Hard credit check - 25/9
Docs submitted - 27/9
Valuation fee paid - 27/9
HTB authority to proceed - 08/10
Valuation booked - 14/10

Hopefully now on the home stretch!!

Just got our paperwork through from Halifax, it was a 3 week turnaround from full application to offer. That was with a self employed main applicant and me as 2nd with a default from 2 years ago. We are in Scotland though so I think the home report sped things up.

Hi  how long are Santander currently taking for an offer.
We applied directly online (based in Scotland) 
Application went in on 13th October
Hard Search done on 15th 
email received Valuation Instructed on 16th
 giftor signed letter requested on 17th.

After waiting and waiting for nationwide with still no answer we have put in another application with Halifax. It's been a week hard search has been done, valuation has been done and is being assessed, does anyone know the procedure with Halifax ?? Nationwide did the valuation done the hard search asked the same question twice then nothing for weeks, still waiting.

Ours was quite quick With Santander, we did use a broker though.

 Full application went in on 1st October.
Hard search same day
valuation done on 14th October and the confirmation of offer was with us at 6.50pm that night.

I was expecting at least a week wait after the valuation so nearly fell off my chair when it came through! 

Hopefully yours will be as quick! 👍

Application went in with Coventry Building Society 15th October
Can see hard checks on my Clearscore record on the 16th.
I'm hoping this will be pretty straight forward although we are after 90% LTV. Anyone know Coventry times at the moment?

Missed out on posting an update here.. Timeline as below

7th October: Submitted all the required documents to Habito
8th October: Habito submitted our full application to HSBC and we are in queue now for the initial review. Our DIP has been given to us. Hard search recorded
9th October: Valuation booked for 13th October
13th October: Valuation completed! Matches the agreed purchase price! 
14th October: Mortgage offer received!!!!! offer documents sent via email

Hope this helps whoever!  Very happy and impressed with this turnaround time with HSBC. Literally 6 days if you count from 8th October! And two days of weekend in between. Technically 3 days only.. thats amazing. Mind you our application was straight forward. Both of us full time employed with deposit from our savings. So luckily it was smooth
