16/02/2014 - Second viewing and offer accepted
18/02/2014 - AIP by Natwest completed and accepted
    21/02/2014 - Solicitors instructed
22/02/2014 - Application submitted to Natwest
25/02/2014 - Reference recieved and application in the system
26/02/2014 - MA faxed evidence to Natwest

No one else seems to be with Natwest. Hate waiting, and my MA is so laid back with the whole process - I've got more information ringing Natwest directly and obtaining my updates.

    I'm finally moving along!

03/03/2014 - Proof of deposit required, sent in same day
04/03/2014 - Proof of despoit received into system, advised to wait 48 hours to process again
06/03/2014 - Mortgage application accepted based on valuation and valuation instructed
    07/03/2014 - Valuation booked for 14th March :T

Hi, Also waiting decision from HSBC after a telephone application on 6th Feb and our documents were presented on 11th - this is a remortgage application as we want to change from our current lender. Our application is in the queue for an underwriter since last week, and apparently there has been a system problem since then that has caused a backlog... we can only wait.

Still waiting for a decision from HSBC, I think they must be still catching up after the system problems.

  • Tearing our hair out waiting after foolishly going with a broker who never keeps us informed and just shrugs when we ask what the bank are doing:

    7/2 offer accepted
8/2 AIP with woolwich and applied
    13/2 Valuation
27/2 after much chasing finally told Woolwich had passed to underwriters

    Still waiting...
