I sent the packaging for our latest NatWest case last Tuesday and it was finally underwritten yesterday, four working days.

Still waiting on mine, had to send proof of deposit yesterday which was scanned in this morning - so another up to 48 hours to process, so should hear back on Thursday :(

    06/02 House viewing
07/02 Offer made on our house
    10/02 We viewed three houses
11/02 Made offer on house to buy (which was accepted)
    17/02 Mortgage paperwork submitted
18/02 Survey on our house done
24/02 Survey carried out on house we're buying
03/03 Proof of earnings from accountant sent to mortgage company
  • Final documents and valuation fee went in yesterday.

I really never thought I would ever get this far to be able to add my name to this list but now I can :)

I live in London so almost impossible to buy a normal house, but have reserved a new build apartment and using the Help to Buy equity scheme. Mortgage application through Halifax was sent yesterday so let the waiting begin!
