I submitted an application (30% LTV) to NatWest last weekend, faxed the packaging requirements on Tuesday (when they finally provided the application number) and I'm still waiting for the underwriting to be done and valuer instructed.
I'd say our chances of a valuation being done next week are getting slimmer, assuming the valuer instruction is issued on Monday.I am a mortgage broker. 26/02 - Satisfactory valuation completed
03/03 - Nationwide still waiting for employers reference before issuing our mortgage offer, also contacting Solicitors for an update as haven't heard anything since we instructed them0

growing increasingly impatient with our broker now. Full application was put in to Santander on 14/02. According to the int website we should have had ours back last week. Broker confirmed it was with the underwriters last Tuesday. Other people who put applications in AFTER us have has valuation dates.
Rang the broker again today but the receptionist said 'he is not in work today'.
I have also had the vendors EA on the phone asking ME for an update.
The service has seemed to slip a LOT since we paid the brokers fee. It was all very promped and on the ball up until then of course.
