Hi, Also waiting decision from HSBC after a telephone application on 6th Feb and our documents were presented on 11th - this is a remortgage application as we want to change from our current lender. Our application is in the queue for an underwriter since last week, and apparently there has been a system problem since then that has caused a backlog... we can only wait.

Not only do we have the 28 day thing but solicitor is on holiday from the 12th, and we are on holiday from the 13th. Really really need to exchange before then!
The developer just phoned me for an update, seemed happy we are moving forwards :j

Does anyone know at what stage we will get the list of stuff being left by the vendor? Don't know its official name but lists thinks like blinds, carpets etc? Does it come with the contract?

Broker phoned me at 5.50 so I missed the call as I stopped staring at my phone, left a message to say he is going to keep harassing them to keep things moving now they have said application is fine. Come oooon Santander!

Just had an email from my broker, so finally Virgin have the "correct" valuation report after surveyor put details on it wrong 3 times!

He says that Virgin will be looking at it today "gulp" we put in our full application on the 30th January so you can imagine it been a long wait and stressful time, just hope they give the final thumbs up now :-(

Just want to give my wife and little boy a permanent home.

ANOTHER UPDATE!

Just got an email from my broker with the Mortgage Offer!! Im over the moon!!

Keep the faith people, as you could see from my posts I was feeling very negative about it all but turns out was a straight forward case!
