Has your valuation been done yet?
No. We are still waiting to hear when that is going to be.
Really do hope the process is quicker for you. Wouldn't want anyone else waiting this long without hearing anything.Wins so far: NewYorkColour Make Up goodybag, Strongbow small prize, Galaxy bookX2, Mars cricket ball, rugby ball, Avon Lipgloss0 -

Well still awaiting whether lender will remove the T&C of my removal from previous mortgage. But ex husband knows the urgency (court case scheduled), and awaiting his offer for re-mortgage.
Sooooooo.......today we have finally exchanged with completion in 3 weeks. So happy. The sleepless nights hopefully will ease a little along with sleeps where I've been feeling held down (seriously) and having to fight myself free.
This buying process ain't much fun at all is it.
My ex husband has now got an offer but has advised me that it's unlikely he'll now complete on his offer in time for my completion The reason that there will be a delay is that the current offer with Halifax will cost him an extra £10k a year. He is now awaiting a valuation form another lender for an offer. He has said that it best we push back the completion date. He’s even had the nerve to suggest that we either give the vendor the deposit, get a bridging loan or push back the date.
I have advised him of the legal ramification from our side, but also from his as there is a date set with Family court on the 12th March.
He has a solicitor, but has said there is nothing for him to do until the new offer comes through, but I have again asked that his solicitor call my solicitor, for clarification on our situation. And there is so much he could be getting on with.
Due to the pressures my mother has asked if being a guarantor would help any. She has two properties in London which are both basically mortgage free (approx. 5 years left) and also property in Florida.
I just don't know now what to do. Do I look at Bridging loans, which are very expensive. Broker looking at any possibilities but I need to make sure my offer is not in jeopardy in any way0 -
Just heard back from my MA that our offer from Halifax will be in tonight's post.
Obviously pleased with that, but as the term was reduced by a year (due to my age) and Halifax increased the interest rate it's more expensive than we originally budgeted.Unsecured debt 2008 c £45,000
Current unsecured debt February 2016 £1,734.85

Mortgage offer with the solicitor today.. all searches are back and ok. Our survey came back too with no problems.
They are apparently just waiting on an enquiry they sent to the senders solicitors then we can go ahead :jand talk about dates...
The seller is not buying anything, so when do you reckon we can exchange and complete? As apparently this can happen on the same day!0 -

Can I join in?! We've had a pretty rough road so far due to an incorrect default being placed on my credit file by Lowell Portfolio! Now that has been removed, we are finally awaiting a yes from our lender!!
Due to the problems with my credit file, we have been forced to go with a sub-prime lender in order to go ahead with the purchase - I have expected them to ask for blood or a kidney (they have asked for everything else!).
I last bought a house in 2002 and the mortgage world has changed so much since then - I was offered 110% back then! Ah well......
We have been told we will hear today.... I have cramp in my fingers and toes from keeping them crossed for weeks.
We are due to move in <2 weeks!!0 -
