Our application went in last Thursday the 13th. Not heard anything even tho the MA said the valuation would prob be booked this week throughout Santander

Good luck if you do plan to hear anything from Santander within a week...
We've had our full application in since 30/01 and have only had requests to provide bank statements. Not heard a dot other than that. MA is continually trying to chase them up but we keep hearing the same thing - Maybe tomorrow...

Same here, about the same time as well, similar message from the in bank mortgage advisor that it was all over bar the shouting.

Have sent her a chaser this morning asking her to give them a prod

hi all!! internet application submitted to first direct about 10 minutes ago. 48 hours to hear back. First ever mortgage application... will be drinking a lot of tea today/tomorrow to pass time :j

Really not what I want to hear. It would not be to much of a problem but we need to move fast as the sellers will not remove from market until we have the offer

We are in the same position and feel like we are really testing the seller's patience. However there is nothing we can do but wait for Santander to catch up.
Found out today that they have requested 2 things which we have already sent! Seems that their administration is slacking with them being so busy.
We are into the third week now and not only is it testing the seller's patience, its testing ours too!
