MoshiMoshi wrote: »Hi

I would like to join this thread with my short story.
The timeline is as follows:
6th Feb - Offer In Principle
12th Feb- Found the house, made an offer, offer accepted!!
13th Feb (Thursday)- another meeting with Lloyds MA, all docs presented and credit check done. He told me it was all fine and that both me and my husband had very good credit scores. At the end of the meeting I paid the mortgage fee and the valuation and homebuyers fee. He told me my mortgage offer was now subject to valuation. Does it mean exactly that? or should I expect some serious hurdles still to come?
25th Feb - Valuation done, report sent to me in the afternoon. All ok and 'the price is right'.u.
It's only the 23rd today?0 -

We still have no date for exchange or completion. Our broker called the EA last week for an update and was told they was too busy doing admin work to look into it. We are chasing solicitors and EA every day but getting nowhere.Originally Posted by lexilex

My mortgage offer was put in on Saturday 22nd with Natwest.
Does anyone have any experience with timescales for Natwest? I've been told I will get an account number in 24/48 hours.0 -

I wouldn't have thought you'd get a response by the end of this week if it's a paper application being sent tomorrow unfortunately. It will take a couple of days at least for it to be keyed in once Nationwide receive it.0 -
Gazfocus, thought it might be a bit hasty (was a broker estimate) my theory with most things on the house is 'put it out of my mind until the first day that it might be done, then start thinking about it' lol
in the same vein, i'm not starting to think about my buyers' valuation until tomorrow when they will prob have heard about it
