Only when you have a completion date on which everyone is agreed.

We asked the seller at the weekend and she said she thought it would be soon... she doesn't mind when because she has to sell her business as shes moving abroad.

Im thinking mid march? Reckon thats do-able?

I do feel awful for all of you still waiting for decisions on the mortgage.

There was exactly a week between submitting our full application and getting the offer in the post, however, the last house I bought, it took around 5 weeks from application to offer because the building society kept asking for things they had already been sent.

It's been a week now, heard nothing from broker. I am not a patient person!

My solicitor said they are being quick at the moment, conflicting information :(
We went with them because they could give us the best rate and weren't bothered that I have 2 months left on my job probation :)
