When did you take out your contract?
Can you copy the terms and conditions that state that you are to send bills 5-6. :A

Some advice please (and apologies if a similar query has been asked before):

I bought my phone from TMO in June with the dispatch note dated 09/06/07 including a number port confirmation that confirmed I could use my new phone from the 15th. I received my first Vodafone bill on the 16th of July which covered two months line rental followed by a second bill on 16th August and am expecting the third bill on the 16th of September. Given that in month 4 of my contract (i.e. this month) I'll only have three bills to send off are they going to deny me my cashback despite the fact the first one is combined for months one and two?

I don't know if i'm correct, so e-mail the Mobile Outlet and ask them, they won't reply, but that works to your advantage. ;)

I would send the 1st 4 bills that you receive within 21 days of the date on the 4th bill. whether this is month is in 'month' 3,4,5, 6 or any other they choose would not bother me too much.

    Some help please, please!

I hade 2 phones from MO last year - I got my first claim on both phone through ok (well after spending months trying to determine what their T&C was), anyway, my 11th bill came late from Orange (this was during the various postal strike period), anyway for whatever reason my bill was late arriving - and MO have now rejected my cashback claim and future claims (my 12th bill on 1 phone is the 11th bill on phone #2 - one phone got lost so they are running a month behind) due to the bill arriving to them after the 21 day deadline.

Anyway I got my 12th bill for the 2nd phone and that was also late from Orange and I wrote to MO explaining what happened - I mean I can't send them the bills before I get them can I?. Needless to say they have not responded to my letter and just refused the claim on the 2nd phone too.

I am really upset as I'm recently disabled (wheelchair bound) and my hubby is full time carer so this is money which we desperately need back, we only took out the deals as we expected our money back and it seemed the only way to get a decent phone at the time. We are now down almost £550 between the 2 phones and I don't know what to do. I'm struggling to pay my rent and buy food (we also have 3 kids) at the best of times on our benefit and we really need this money back - we can't afford to lose it.

This company seems to have no ethics in my opinion as I've explained all of this in my last letter and as I said they haven't even the decency to respond :(.

Anyone with advise I would appreciate it

    Lizzy

  • hey, i bought my cantract phone from TMO in March and i got my first cashback payment BUT

since then they seem to have changed their T&Cs when i sent my second application for cashback they say i sent the wrong bills....

where as i sent the correct bill according to their T&Cs at the time i bought the contract... if they changed them later its not my fault is it ? these changes should affect people who bought the contract after the T&Cs changes occured ... how would i know that they have changed their T&Cs
they telling me i lost my this payment plus all future cashback payments too..
does any know wat i should do... as you would already know they dont like to discuss cashback issue over the phone.. so i have sent an e-mail to them already.. but got no responce from them yet..

  • As long as you followed the rules and have copies of the t&c you signed up to send a Letter Before Action, then sue. Why do people mess around with this lot?

i dont really have a copy of it but i did make a note of it in my dairy and on my bills which i had to send when i read the T&Cs i made notes of the bills i had to send.

does anybody know how to get a copy of their T&Cs that were there in March 2007. as i m VERY positive that they were as i think they were..

"Saint" i bought my contract in March 2007

according tothem i breached the T&Cs according to them i should have sent bills 5-7 where as i sent bill 5-6 bill 7 hasnt arrived yet as my billing date is around 9th or 10th....

if by any chance i am wrong about the T&Cs they should allow me to send thm bill seven as it would be due this month... they cant just invalidate my whole year's cashback because i sent in an early claim.. as you would kno most companies charge som admin fee for not unlike TMO reject their whole year's cashback...

This is the same as me. I have an orange contract with bill 1 may & june and bill 2 july and bill 3 august. I took them into the orange shop after getting no reply from TMO by phone or e-mail and the assistant said wait for bill 4 in September and send the 4 together.
  • is it ok got TMO to cancel all my future payments just coz i sent my bills early ?

they telling me i should have sent bill 5-7 i sent them 5-6 they received them... and they telling me because i breach the Terms & conditions thats why they wont pay me nothing for whole year...

should i send them bill 7 as 5-6 they already have received or should i call my mobile network and ask them to send me copy of bill 5-6 so then i can send them bill 5-7 all togather..?

as for PBD if you send your bill early they charge you admin fee for dealing with extra or unneccesory paperwork... unlike TMO thy simply rejecting all my future payments.....

so what do you think ishould do.... as if you are correct that i should have sent bill 5-7 ... do i just send them in my bill 7 as i already sent them bill 5-6 or so i ask my mobile network to send me copy of bills 5-6 and then send them bills 5-7... it seems that the only mistake i made is that i sent my bills early they cant just cancel all my payments for that i mean i can still send them bill 7 which i just received today.... or i can ask the mobile network to send me copy of bill 5-6 so then i can sed them 5-7 correctly ...

anybody know what to do ? i neecdto know ASAP coz other wise i can miss all my payments and i need to sed the billwith in these 17-18 days...
