Post August t's & c's it says "5 equal installments" - the preceeding t's and c's said it too - they've slipped up there.0 -
Hi Everyone,
I bought a mobile 4 months back on 12 months line rental scheme. I claimed my first cashback few weeks back with the required documents (first four months original bills and original dispatch note). I received a letter from their customer relationship manager stating that they received all the originals except the dispatch note whereas I had sent this as well. I had sent all the indicated documents on special recorded royal mail. I think they are playing a trick by stating that they did not receive the dispatch note. Can anyone tell me as to how to prove that I had included the dispatch note in the documents that I sent?? now What should I do to get the cashback??
Note: I have the copy of all the documents that I had sent to them.
Thanks,
Samson0 -
my phone was ment to be dispatched yesterday, but when i called today, they said they were dispatching it today, i just tracked it now on royal mail site, and according to them they expect it to be delivered before the guaranteed date of 13th August, because if they post it today, it is guaranteed for monday, but theres a chance for tommorow, so fingers crossed, it should be here tommorow, as the royal mail site says they expect it to be delivered earlier than monday.0

Between what dates, prior to August of this year, do you allege that The Mobile Outlet's posted Terms & Conditions ever stated that cashback would be paid in "5 equal installments" (sic) and upon what evidence of that do you rely?
I have never seen any Terms & Conditions posted by The Mobile Outlet prior to August 2007 that go further than to state that "you have to claim your money back in a five stage process."
In point of fact there has never been anything in The Mobile Outlet's posted Terms & Conditions prior to August 2007 that would actually prevent them legally from making four instalment payments of 1p and paying the rest of the cashback in one large, fifth instalment after twelve months.
It is for that very reason that those who have been receiving instalment payments of one-fifth of their annual line rental would be unwise to complain.
So, from what T&Cs you quoting? And from when?0
