Hi,
Does anyone know what is the current turnaround time for TMO cashback claims? I sent my first cashback claim on 9th June (reached them on 12th June) - but it is still not processed yet.
Is the TMO Forum Query Team still active on this forum?
Thanks,
adgupta
Hi, it is always best to read the last few pages of a thread if it is long to see if your answer is there. This saves the thread getting to long which then creates more people not reading it.
You can read through the thread to get an answer to your 2nd question.
Dear Customer,
We can confirm that the cash back application you recently submitted has been successful. Your details have been forwarded to our accounts department who will issue payment by BACS within the next 10-14 days. If your bank details have changed since your original order, please email customerservice@themobileoutlet.co.uk and we will arrange a call back to have your details amended.
Due to a server issue we have had there is a delay in processing claims received 1st June - 13th June 2007. This backlog will be dealt with over the next 10 working days. At present we are making all payments by BACS, but claims received between the above dates will be paid by cheque.
Please accept our sincerest apology about the delay incurred in processing your cash back application. Kind Regards,
Customer Service TeamWell life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -
Hi
We have just received a letter from mobile outlet about our 12 months free contract (nokia 6103).
''Part of the conditions given to you on your purchase with the mobile outlet, was that you were entitled to a cash-back offer. This was available by forwarding your original dispatch note and required bills within the specified timescale. We have received all the bills however you omitted to send us your original despatch note or welcome letter. Your despatch note will have come from either our despatch company, Dextra Solutions, or from ourselves at The Mobile Outlet.
As you have not included your original despatch note, your application for cashback has been rejected.
If you would like to query or dispute any of the information given in this letter, please do so in writing. Cashback claims will only be reveiwed if a request in writing is received. We are not able to review any cash back claims via the telephone.
Kind Regards
Customer Relations Manager''
My mum sent in papers for her cashback 31st may via recorded delivery, they took 28 days to process it 30th July, now if I had been informed in the 28 days that they had not received my dispatch note (which was not sent out due to false instructions from the staff which they kept telling me to write my details on a piece of paper and nothing about the despatch note). If i had been informed in those 28 days I would have sent it in but NO they decide to send it to me on the 14/7/07 so I receive it today (17/7/07) so now we are losing out on ALL of our cashback which means we have just lost our £420!!
Spoke to member of staff who told us to write an appeal & send the despatch note with it!
Just writing a letter to mobile outlet and dont know what to say, should we say we had included the despatch note (not a good lie is it) or mention the false instructions etc and their sneaky ways of scamming people.
Could somebody help us add things to this letter, will be giving court threats, anything else?!Any help would be kindly appreciated

There is a thread dedicated to The Mobile Outlet on this board, hopefully a board guide will move this post there.
Keep your letter simple and civil, tell them that you were instructed to write things down on a piece of paper.
Do you not have the terms and conditions on the back of the despatch note?
They make it clear that you need to send the depatch note with your first claim.Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -
Hey guys have been on holiday for about a month so have not been following the thread. Just thought I would let you know that I got a cheque for CB#2 and my friend sent off (by special delivery) my CB#3 claim while I was away. Providing that goes ok I will be over half way through ;-) I will try to check in now that normality has returned..0

Hi,
Just a quicky to say that I have received my final cashback via BACS. This is the second final I have received over the past few months. It did take a while, my application was April & May but I did get a confirmation email a couple of weeks back that also apologised for the delay & thanked me for my patience.
I have at times found the cashback route to be very worrying, especially when reading other posts, but I have no complaints. Unfortunately TMO don't seem to offer 3 contracts anymore and their cashback proceedure is now a lot longer that when I took out my contracts. This means that it is unlikely that I will be using them again.0 -
I received my final cashback of TMO on my 3 contract by BACS on monday. Thankfully i have claimed all my cashback from TMO for this contract though have another contract for which the first stage of cashback claim needs to be sent towards the end of July. Hopefully i'll get my cashback even if its a month late.0

I just spoke to someone at MO, and the guy said that anyone who has not received their cashback on time will not get it because they did not abide by the terms and conditions, and that anyone who takes them to court will not see the money regardless the finding, and that there never was a server issues, and those emails were sent out in error0

Considering, to my knowledge, only one person has ever had their cashback on time, I personally would disregard anything else that the guy said.Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -

Paid into my account by BACS 17 July. Claim made 30 May - OK so it's late but it still arrived. :beer:0
