Just looking for some advice really. Has anyone else had problems getting onto the themobileoutlet.co.uk? I've emailed twice without getting a response and now have just been onto their site which doesn't appear to be working! The 0870 number is de-functed and the local number is just ringing out - I've got a bit of a bad feeling about this............. .

The mobile I bought is falling apart and the cashback has been promised but not materialised -not looking good is it! Love to hear from anyone who knows anything!

I avoided using this company for obvious reasons. It doesn't sound good, but then a source I HAVE used had something similar a few weeks ago and I have read things like this before. It IS the weekend so I doubt a geographical number would answer. Websites DO go down and in my experience this particular organisation often ignores emails - at least if they ask awkward questions.

There's nothing you can do right now, so try to stay calm and be philosophical. I know it's a horrible feeling when things like this happen, but wait for a day or two when it's past the weekend before junping to conclusions. I hope it works out for you and the many others who have struggled for a long time with this dreadful company!

The web-site is up and running.

You say the 0870 number is de-funct, which one?

You say the local number rings out, which one?

Has anyone had a "courtesy call" from MO asking whether they will be renewing their contract? Mine runs out on 23rd July and they were wondering whether I'd be doing another deal with them.

I managed to give them some constructive criticism I think, without being rude to the phone operator, but did say that if they were still around in another year I'd consider them again.

A quick update on my latest claims:
Claim 5/5 was sent by special delivery on Saturday so should be received by MO today and Claim 4/5 is now 26 days old so no doubt the cashback is winging it's way into my bank now;) ! I'll let you know when I get it.

Bollards - how did you not wet yourself laughing down the phone at them ??!?!?!?!?!?!!? Talk about cheek....if the service was reliable, I think they'd have people going back to them again and again. HOWEVER, as this and the past threads have shown, they're hardly in that ballpark, now, are they ???

i've never had a problem getting hold of them on 0870 1999 333 - i generally don't email about cashback as you don't get a quick reply. if you want your money you should always ring them!
Wondering how to have a life & not rack up more debts...

    With great difficulty!

I did feel quite sorry for the bloke on the other end though - he can hardly be having many positive exchanges.

He did assure me that there are numerous improved systems in place and things can only get better!!!!!!!!! I guess he is right on that score.....:rotfl:

    We shall see.

One could argue that at least they rang to find out....

    Hi,

Does anyone know what is the current turnaround time for TMO cashback claims? I sent my first cashback claim on 9th June (reached them on 12th June) - but it is still not processed yet.

Is the TMO Forum Query Team still active on this forum?

    Thanks,
    adgupta
