I can't figure how to proceed now TMO have failed to pay the Court Order. Sorry if this is in a previous post, but I've spent ages searching this thread and can't find the answer.
My MCOL claim shows that I am unable to take any further action online on this claim.
Also, if I send a copy of the county courts ruling to TMO by registered post before the bailiffs go in, will this prevent them from saying they did not receive the ruling from the courts.0 -

so have the mobile outlet filed a defence for your case or not.
Currently you will be able to request a warrant if your request to judgement by default has been accepted. After you get the bailiffs involved, TMO may or may not (depending on your luck) claim that they didn't receive any ruling from the court. If they did pretend to not have received anything then they should apply to set the judgment aside which will cost them £75. Therefore I dont' see why they don't file a Defence straight away rather than paying £75 then making the case transferred for hearing. The only thing I can think of is they may be winning extra time.
Even if you send them a copy of the county court ruling, this will not prevent them from saying that they haven't received the ruling from the court. I asked this question to the Bailiff previously.
As a result I think the court should be sending things from now on by Recorded Delivery. I don't mind the court raising itst fees for using this service. This way, no one should be able to use this kind of dirty tricks with the court.0 -

Hi angelic,
Don't worry, I have 2 friend who live in london who booked a ticket to travel by train to Bradford very soon. Guess how much the return ticket costs to Bradford. Only £22. Thats if you book it in advance (around 2 weeks in advance). if less than 2 weeks it may be around £40 return.
I think £22 is a fair price. go to www.gner.co.uk to book this ticket. Travel would start from KingsCross station in London.
Their office is very close and accessible from the railway station. This is their postcode: BD8 7DY. Check it out in Streetmap.co.uk
http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=415938&y=434169&z=0&sv=BD8+7DY&st=2&pc=BD8+7DY&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf
The journey will take around 3 hours each way. If you can tolerate travelling for 3 hours then would be great. Bradford also has a shopping centre near the station so you can have a rest there after your journey before returning to London.
My friends can't wait to go there! It will be an adventure for them but they are very happy to do it.0 -
If you want to start a claim with the court you can do so now however this process is very long but not complicated. It can take you around 3 months if not more from start to finish to get your money if lucky.
Therefore my personal opinion is anyone who IS ABLE to travel to Bradford should go there first as it is faster than waiting for the court to deal with your case. Because who knows if the TMO will still exist after 3 months. They may disappear before you get your money.
However, if you are still planning to start a claim there is alot of information to help you start your claim on page 1 post number 7 on this thread.0 -

Yes, they filed a defence, I have been to court and was awarded judgement that TMO should pay £382 by 7th Feb 08.
I don't know how to proceed next and request a warrant0 -

because you can no longer do anything online, the next step would be that you contact the court and tell them that you want to request a warrant. They will give you all the details of how to apply by sending you a form or you may be able to download it and send it to them. So phone them up and they should be able to guide you.0 -

Have a look at the first page of this thread. Post #7 is the one which gives you lots of information (including MCOL) on how to get your money.0 -
I've got a claim in with royal mail cos they failed to deliver my letter in the 21 days time frame set by TMO, have to wait and see how it goes. I wonder if they will claim it was delivered to the address ontime but it was the redirection that caused it to be late. As i see it, its not my problem, they got it late, if Royal Mail have a problem with the redirection they need to insist that TMO change the address, catch 22!!0
