C'mon Quentin, that's a bit off-hand. You can hardly expect anyone to read all 108 pages, this thread is a beast.
If I could I'd go through and delete all posts that don't add any information to the thread, and if I had time I'd put together a post that brings together all we know and the current position.
For example, we have now seen that a customer turning up and being told that a signatory was required on a cheque to be true (or at least true in so much that they DID actually send the cheque a couple of days later).
We also know they aren't doing any more 12 mth free deals, and to date are still trading (touches big piece of wood!), and their cheques aren't bouncing (yet!).I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!

I don't imagine that he expects anyone to do anything. He is willing to give his time and advise to people who are willing to put in a bit of legwork themselves and who don't expect to be spoon fed everything. A little time with the search facility should cut down on the legwork.0 -
I totally agree. Far too many people don't bother researching or reading all the information some of us have taken the time and trouble to provide when we're not the ones with a problem. Then they expect to ask questions people have answered 100 times over. I don't mind giving some help BUT people have to take SOME of their own time and trouble rather than expecting everyone else to do it for them. I have seen Quentin put dozens of posts on numerous threads answering the SAME question time again. Methinks he has the patience of a saint and generosity of time beyond reproach! After all, they have a lot to lose and we have NOTHING to gain form the time spent. Further, those criticising the people who do give some help should try spending as much time themselves doing the same as those they criticise before throwing stones. Personally, I am warning people NOT to enter into ANY cashback deal unless they know practically all these answers FIRST. Anyone doing just the minimal research certainly would never have gone with these dealer (for example) UNLESS they knew what to expect and how to deal with it.0

Just been talking to Bradford Bailiffs. Surprise, surprise - TMO have put in an application to get the judgement set aside - "as they never received notification of it". Bradford bailiff says that they have never won a case so far, and they don't look like they are going bust "for now".
In preparation for the case, I would like to highlight to the judge that this is a cynical delaying tactic by the company. Grateful for any volunteers for witnesses (signed statement is all that is needed) to corrovborate the range of low down techniques used by TMO. Please PM me if interested in participating.
Bradford bailiff also mentioned that all of the mobile companies have had to stop offering these cashback deals because of a court case in Birmingham. A company walked of with £3m. She didn't have any more details.
Just googled and found out that Birmingham Trading Standards have been dealing with the closure of Dail a Mobile Ltd t/a Mobile Connections.

For those people thinking of visiting TMO offices.
I posted last week offering people to PM me with names that appear on the cheques. I was then offering to pass on this info to others who required info (just putting a little back into the thread to help others)! This post was deleted!
Anyway, before it was deleted I had an interesting PM saying that the name on the cheque showed 'authorised signaturies of Mobile Matters' obviously meaning more than 1 person can sign cheques. Keep this in mind when visiting. You may get someone else to sign.
Caroline posted she visited the offices last week and was promised the cheque sent to her via post. She has received her cheque, just waiting to hear if it clears?
Hope this helps others

Can anyone let me know the postal address of TMO Cash Back Department? The one I get from the contract as well as the web site is;
PO Box 259
Shipley
BD17 7WH
However, after my first cashback claim was sent by Special Delivery, the Royal Mail said my mail was redirected to another address in Bradford.
Can anyone let me know what address you use to claim your cashback? Anyone knows if they moved their address?
Hi SunnyJane,
If you read through this thread, there are several posts with the address that TMO have moved to. (I think they were affected by last year's flooding and had to relocate.) However, I believe that you should continue, unless advised by TMO, to send claims/correspondance to the address in your T&Cs. TMO will have a redirect set-up from that address to the current address. The current address on their website is the same as when I had my contract with them (July 2006-June 2007):
3/4 Riverdale House
Dockfield Road
Shipley
BD17 7AD
Hope this helps,

Thanks for those of you who cared about my earlier post. As I said I went through most of the messages in this thread, however there are controversial viewpoints here and there in the forum, that’s why I asked. Sorry to bother (if I did). I’ve decided to wait another 8 days to finish LBA time limit. But the thing that FAGUN said (about TMO try to get the judgement set aside ...) worries me a bit, any more comment on that?0

Hi All . I am new to this site as I just typed in Duck Suppers Limited to see what came up and this site was what I found. I wrote to Companies House in Cardiff about the Mobile Outlet as to strike off they have to not be trading for 3 months previously which I know they have been doing. They are now apparently called Duck Suppers Limited. I know you are probably tired of people asking the same old questions and I have read most of the 108 pages but I seemed to be getting bogged down with information. I finished my contract at the beginning of January and have only received 1 cashback payment all year. My husband has a contract too. I got an e-mail in November from Kershella James saying payment would be made to me by November 15th but obviously nothing arrived. I have made myself sick with worry in the past 12 months and had resigned myself to the fact that I won't see a penny of my money but after reading this site I am beginning to be hopeful that there is something that I can do. Can anyone please tell me where I start in trying to recover my money. I may be a bit dim but I have no idea what MCOL stands for? Please help. Thankyou so much0

Just found a very interesting and helpful e-mail on page 1 of this thread explaining what I need to do. I'd read virtually all the pages except the first few so apologies for not reading ALL of them first. Don't know whether to pursue my claim as it looks quite complicated and I have been so ill with the stress of it all that I'm not sure if it is worth it. What do others think?0
