What an eventful day its been, first the news about the cheque being sent from the bailiff, now i've got home and logged onto my email and TMO have sent an email (yes I was shocked too) accepting my 4th cashback, so they haven't packed up and gone home completely !! Just waiting for that last email to accept the last one and hopefully my MCOL will take care of the last 3 cashbacks. I live in hope

Good god. Your a rare chicken. I'd keep your head down around here if I were you. Good on you though. Glad to see someone has had some luck.

Hello forum, I filled in my MCOL form omline over a week ago, but when I try to submit it, which I have at least twice a day, I get

Due to a technical error you cannot submit your form at this time.
Please select the Claim menu button to go to the claim menu to try again or contact the Customer Help Desk.

I thought the website had problems, but I see some members have successfully submited their claims, anybody got any idea why I keep getting this message??,

    Thanks.confused-smiley-013.gif

Are you using Firefox browser? I got this message previously when using Firefox. The problem has been resolved when I used Internet Explorer.

Thanks very much Mira, that's exactly what the problem was, it's now been submitted.action-smiley-033.gif
  • p5x, I doubt they'd be open on a Saturday. It's a business unit so probably 9-5 Mon-Fri.

Just a long shot but has anyone suffered from credit card/debit card fraud since they released their card details to The Mobile Outlet? Any strange purchases appeared on your statement?
  • Hi everybody
I am in the same boat as most of you (having problem with Mobile Outlet). I Just found this thread few days ago and I managed to read most of the messages. I have 5 cashbacks accepted from Mobile Outlet (for 2 separate contracts) which in total comes up to £468. The earliest one was accepted in August and the last one was accepted in the first week of November. With the help of this thread I wrote and sent my LBA to them two days ago however I can imagine I won't receive a reply from them (as they ignored all my email enguiries and phone calls). Anyway my question is should I wait until the 10 days time I mentioned in LBA finishes or you rekon I go for MCOL asap? Also can I fill just one MCOL form for all my claims from 2 contracts or I should claim them separately? I need some concrete advise. Thanks

All advice is in the thread. (You must make up your own mind if its concrete enough for you)
  • I would reccommend posting the cashback In Februrary since the first bill is not 30 days after connection but the second bill is. I am also in the same situtation. I made that mistake with my previous contract and they were nice enough to only deduct £10 from my cashback lol. Then phonebox direct went bankrupt and I lost my last cashback for £108!!! So after this year I'm never doing one again.

Did you receive the vouchers in your email to send the cashback? I didn't and was hoping you can email them to me?

    Thanks!
  • I think it best to wait until the date YOU said in your LBA. (after all you've waited so long, a few days won't make much difference).

I think I gathered from other posts that you are claiming a debt owed to you from TMO, so it is the amalgamation of all contracts (specified clearly in your claim) - Think of it as a supplier to a supermarket not being paid week after week, they would sue for the amalgamated debt, not for each invoice raised.

Also remember it is Mobile Matters (UK) Ltd you are claiming against trading as (T/A for short) The Mobile Outlet.
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)
