My claim issued on 10 Jan 2008 for £144+£25 isn't inlcuded on the list above, nor is a claim they defended in June. Both remain unpaid although a warrant has been issued for the first (£72+£30+£35)!

Forgive my ignorance but when you say a warrant has been issued (for the June claim) does this mean that the bailiffs have been instructed?

My very recent MCOL also needs to be added to the list.

It would help others if you could let us know how long ago you were granted the warrant, and why your money remains unpaid after winning judgement last June.

That list is of unpaid ccjs, not MCOLs.

    UPDATE ON CHEQUE:
As far as I can tell my cheque for £300 has successfully cleared. The Halifax told me it would be available to draw on yesterday and this date and now past with my balance still to the good of the TMO Cheque.
So, it looks like I have been a lucky one. I am still in for a further 4 claims of £84 when the time arrives and have no doubt that I'll have to go through the same process again (if they are still in business).
Today I received an email from ukdata.com advising me that 'the mobile outlet ltd' have had a Dissolution or striking-off document filed. Does anyone know what this means? Are they closing their busines? Is someone else trying to wind them up? Any advise would be appreciated....

If you read the thread you will see that the mobile outlet ltd are nothing to do with it. (ie this thread).

Ah right, thanks for that...I'm learning all the time!
  • I'm owed £216 being the last 2 cashback payments on my "deal" through these rogues.

Having sent a LBA and before I embark down the court route, I'm wondering if I would be throwing good money after bad if Mobile Matters goes into liquidation anytime soon. (I'm guessing this is going to be the only outcome eventually)

Anyone care to comment or has got evidence either way that they are willing to share?

    Thanks
    Ben
  • Hello .. I am watching this thread since last 2 weeks and what appears from the comments from other members there are couple of options available to get our cashback:

    1. Go through CCJ and ballifs - Perfect if we know that company will survive for another 3-4 months as it might take good 2-3 months to recover our money and the chances are we will end up loosing the money that we have to pay to baliffs in case Mobile Outlet backdate their cheque.

    2. Visit their office in person , in Bradford which is around 220 miles from my place. i.e. Bristol. This looks to be better alternative in case we have their confirmed address.

I am planning to visit their office on 31st January i.e Thursday from BRISTOL.

I will start at around 9 am - reach Bradford at around 12:30 pm. Anybody willing to accompany me for the share of the fuel price which I believe will be around 45 pounds (in total) so if 3 persons accompany me it will be just 12 pounds per person which I think is worth a risk. If interested you can contact me on 07968075717. I can pick you from the Motorway junction if your place lies on my way to Bradford. (for eg Gloucester, Birmingham etc etc )

Yes this is the right address. Its above the club shop so just tell your satnav to find Bradford City FC. Or Manningham Lane, its just off there.
