You'll find them on the original dispatch note and on the emails sent to you when you ordered the phone.

Not sure what to do if you don't have them....
  • I can't use MCOL to pursue these crooks as I live in Scotland.

I saw a couple of posting about the Scottish small claims court process, but looking at their web site it is not clear how easy it will be to pursue a company located in England.

Does anyone know? Has anyone in Scotland successfully done this?

You don't have to live in England/Wales to use MCOL.

You just need an address for the court to send you documents which is in England or Wales.

But bear in mind that any hearing that results from your Claim will be allocated to the County Court nearest to the address you use.

Unfortunately I didn't copy my dispatch note, just sent it to them with my first claim.

I have a reference number for emails, would this be my customer number also?

Go to TMO website and then to order tracking
Type your reference number and your surname and see if it displays your order details...if it does, thats your order number
I wouldn't worry about your customer number, its not essential for an LBA, your order number is enough...I didn't quote my customer number in my LBA or MCOL claim

BTW I pressed your thanks button by mistake....

That worked a treat, thanks :) The email ref is my order number it turns out.

Thanks again, now I can send off the lba.

Also I have just noticed that The Mobile Outlet Ltd does not exist any more. If you check companies house you get this:

They changed their name yesterday. Looks like I waited too long before trying to get my money back. Is there much chance of anyone getting any more cashback? Does it matter that they have changed the name?

This again? They aren't called "The Mobile Outlet Ltd"! They're Mobile Matters UK Ltd t/a The Mobile Outlet. The correct name for the company is on the very first page of this thread! See http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/5dbf037a84430219161383a46dcc3872/compdetails for the correct Companies House info.

After giving it one week after the judgement has been issued for 2 claims for my sisters, I am ready now to request a warrant for both claims.

But i want to know whether I need to supply the court TMO new address in the additional information section? or would the court already know about it?

Give all information you have for the Bailiff to use. (Though from previous posts the Bradford Bailiff knows exactly where they are!)

    crass,
if I were you, I would read ALL of this thread before sending your LBA.
Yes, I know its a long thread, but there is invaluable advice in here....
At least read the last 10 pages and the first page....
