I drove, but I'm sure frequent buses will run from the interchange. I had to ask to speak to some-one from the company at reception. I took along all of my paperwork. A guy disappeared back upstairs with it, and returned after about 10 minutes with my cheque.

Their offices are located in the bantam suite, which is at the corner of one of the football stands.
  • Bills, not DD date - that is one of their red herrings that they'd look to stop paying you if you changed method (like it matters to them)

Just the one that it says in your T&C's and keep copies of everything you send (and I mean everything), oh and ALWAYS send RM Special Delivery.

    Thanks a lot, Laticsforlife!

Gramatically speaking, it means that we cannot start to make a claim until a payment through the bank is made clearly. Is that correct?

    Anybody else has any advice?
  • my MCOL is now also in the pipeline. I just hope they don't fold or it's more money down the drain.......This is for my first cashback instalment from November - I never even received an email stating they have received my documents. I guess I will wait out the next 19 days and go from there......

Hmmm...."they're not issuing cashback cheques at the minute"....and why not, pray tell??? sec79, did they elaborate on this statement at all ??
    ......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple :D
  • Having just looked at TMO's website they do not seem to be doing any more cashback deals. In fact the only phone they have is a Nokia 6300 on Orange (the only supplier they have left). This is on standard Orange tariffs - so I can't see them selling many....if any, with there reputation. And if there is no money coming in I guess there will be no money going out. I guess this tallies with Sec79's earlier post that they are not issuing cashback cheques at present. This in my opinion does not look good for the future. Still, fingers crossed?
  • My contract with TMO was on T-Mobile. I know T-Mobile are not liable for any of the money I am owed from TMO (£216) but I emailed the T-Mobile customer relations department explaining all the problems I have had and asking nicely that they a) please help me chase up my money and b) they stop dealing with this company as by having them as a client they are effectively helping them con their customers out of their money.

I got the nicest response apologising and asking for all the details/dates/correspondence regarding my claim and they have confirmed they are going to chase this up for me which hopefully will avoid me having to proceed with legal action, I will definitely wait and see what happens....

This could be another route for people to try

TMO no longer have any deals with T-mobile:
Sorry we do not currently have any mobile phone offers available on T-Mobile

The same message now appears against all the networks except Orange (where they have only one phone on offer).

    Moribund or what?

I think these new T&Cs are designed to give TMO an excuse to refuse every single cashback claim. They have then calculated that either a) the amount of money saved by people giving up outweighs the costs multiple of court actions, or b) it will buy them some time to rake in the lucrative Christmas business before imploding sometime between February and April..........

I posted this in November. I think we have to face the real possibility that TMO have been consciously winding down its business (especially the business of paying people the money it owes them) for the last few months with the knowledge that the game is up. It doesn't appear to be paying anyone (except possibly during face to face meetings) or even emailing anyone. It seems to have stopped contesting most court cases and with the Christmas bonanza over this could be a dangerous time for those seeking money. Their website is a total shambles with close to nothing available to buy anymore. Those people who have been on the scene longer than me might have seen this before of course..............
  • Please can someone tell me what address shall I use on MCOL for the Defendant (i.e. TMO), should it be the Shipley One or the Bradford One?
  • I'm dithering between putting in a MCOl and going to their offices in Bradford. One reason is, my final claim was lost in the post (RM compensated me with 2 books of stamps!). While i think the courts would still let me claim the whole lot because TMO breached their contract, if I go in person do you think they'd refuse to pay the 5th one?
