TMO no longer have any deals with T-mobile:

The same message now appears against all the networks except Orange (where they have only one phone on offer).

Moribund or what?

This does not look good !! Although its not the greatest web site in the world as you can still get the phones on the networks if you select by brand, i.e. Nokia still has to buy on those networks (should you want to get a phone though this "company" :rotfl: ) So in conclusion it may just be the website playing up ???

I am looking at this more in hope than expectation !!!!

Maybe tmo are applying to be stuck off, in which case they have to prove that they have not traded in the previous 3 months.
• I've said it in earlier posts - if this Company loses its income stream then one of its customers (not necessarily one of us, but a utility or other supplier) might be able to push it's debt and make them go into liquidation, and then we all lose out.

it certainly looks like a face-to-face is the best option at the moment (for those within reasonable travelling time).

It looks bleak - If they did go bump at least I'd know where I stood, and would reduce my 3 tariffs to much cheaper ones. At this rate, I'll be claiming MCOL's after having paid the full whack, which I may have avoided some of the debt (I reckon 3 x £15-£20 a month for 6 months, total possible to save of around £300 out of the £1330 I stand to lose).

At least my Quidco was paid!!
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)
Quidco and Topcashback, £4,569
Shopandscan, £2,840
Tesco Double The Difference, £2,700
Thomson EU261/04 Claim, £1,700
British Airways EU261/04 Claim, EUR1200

If that was the case they would take down their website.

As an e-tailer they still look like they are attempting to trade.
• I am joining the large group of you who are having trouble with TMO. After months of chasing up two payments due on my husbands contract and the final payment of mine, I started to search Moneysavingexpert website and found you all - I had no idea such a forum existed! Anyway just introducing myself, I live in Scotland and having just done a search on your thread can see that there was a discussion sometime in October about going through the Scottish Small Claims procedure. Looks like I will be embarking on that soon, never done anything like this before so am a bit nervous but am determined not to let them off with it. Especially since I signed up to two new contracts in August after receiving my first few cashback amounts on time. Looks like I could be doing a lot of claiming going forward so might as well start here!! Will post my LBA to TMO/MM today and see what happens, if anyone has any last works of advice on the Scottish process I would really appreciate it. Will let you all know how I get on.
• If you are August you must be close to my claim dates, i.e. just about now for number 1 that isn't due to be paid (as-if!) until 9 weeks after, i.e. 7th March, which is when we can send an LBA then say on the 21st a Court Claim (will the Company still exist by then?)

• yes have sent my Special delivery packets away on Friday for my first claim of my and my husbands new contract. We got our first 2 or 3 payments no trouble so here's hoping! Judging by everyones comments though I don't think anyone has had much without a fight lately. Good luck with yours, I will keep my fingers crossed.

My contract with TMO was on T-Mobile. I know T-Mobile are not liable for any of the money I am owed from TMO (£216) but I emailed the T-Mobile customer relations department explaining all the problems I have had and asking nicely that they a) please help me chase up my money and b) they stop dealing with this company as by having them as a client they are effectively helping them con their customers out of their money.

I got the nicest response apologising and asking for all the details/dates/correspondence regarding my claim and they have confirmed they are going to chase this up for me which hopefully will avoid me having to proceed with legal action, I will definitely wait and see what happens....

This could be another route for people to try

I am also with T-Mobile and have had the same response from them.

After calling the customer help line and explaining the case they said they could do nothing about it.

I then sent and email Customer Relations and they said that thay might be able to help (Maybe because I threatened to cancel the contract).

I received the following emails from customer relations.

On 9 January:
I've passed on your comments on to the relevant team who'll make a note of these details and look into this for you.

I'm afraid that we can't guarantee that we'll get your cash back. However, this is the most we can do to help.

and on 15 January
I can confirm the only address I have for The Mobile Outlet is as follows:

The Mobile Outlet
Unit 2
Mercury Quays
Ashley Lane
Shipley
West Yorkshire
BD17 7 DB

I can also confirm that The Mobile Outlet were supplied with phones and contracts by a company called Chitter Chatter.
Chitter Chatter have ceased trading with The Mobile Outlet and we are in correspondence with Chitter Chatter regarding all cash back complaints.

I am waiting for further progress.

By looking at the posts on here regarding TMO website, it looks like this company is on the way out.

I was going to go down the MCOL route today but I am thinking this may take a little longer than my following idea and may end up with nothing! My other option was to give them a visit. I have sent in my final claim last week so I am thinking of waiting until the 28 days have elapsed before going over for the full 3 claims they owe me.

What do others think?

If anyone is planning going over around early Feb then a car share/petrol money is an option i'm interested in. I live in Lancashire (close to Preston). PM me if you live this side and are interested.

• Guys, i think it might just be worth quitting my contract with O2, i've only been on the contract for 2 months.

What do you think?

It seems very time consuming to go through all the court cases and so forth, especially since they seem to be ignoring them too.

HELP! :rotfl:
