You don't enter a daily rate of interest, but a daily amount.
Divide the annual amount by 365.
eg. if they owe you £200, the daily rate is 200 x 8% divided by 365.0 -
Well I got my 2 first payments from TMO but 3 in Sep was acknowledged as correct but never paid. Am now awaiting a judgement against the company as they havent contested the debt. Anyone know some local bradford bailiffs who are reasonable?0

Thanks to Quentin, but in the meanitime my wife found this information, I don't mean to hog this forum, but other users may find this helpful.
http://www.adviceguide.org.uk/c_starting_court_action.pdf
which states,
To calculate the interest, you first need to work out the daily rate of interest. Using a calculator, do the following:
0.00022 × the amount of your claim – this gives you the daily rate of interest0 -
I'm in the middle of filing a claim througu MCOL (I realise the site is down, but I'll file now and save it).
I have decided to claim for the full amount including interest, the MCOL website statesDo you want to reserve the right to claim interest? Since you have indicated that you wish to claim interest on the money the defendant owes you, you must include the following text in the particulars of your claim:
The claimant claims interest under section 69 of the County Courts Act 1984 at the rate of 8% a year from {date when the money became owed to you} to {the date you are issuing the claim} of £ {put the amount} and also interest at the same rate up to the date of judgment or earlier payment at a daily rate of {enter the daily rate of interest}.
My problem is that I don't have a clue what value to enter for the daily rate of interest, can anybody please advise,
Thanks.

1)What Bailiffs are people using at the moment?
2)Can you instruct the courts to use baillifs to recover money owed or do you have to arrange your own bailiffs?
Am ringing court for advice but just wanted to canvass opinions.0
