If You Are Within Reasonable Driving Distance Of Bradford My Advice Is To Pay Them A Visit. It Was Not A Frightening Or Confrontational Experience. I Could Quite Easily Have Lost My Temper With Them But Whats The Point, After All Getting The Money Is The Main Thing. The Guy You Came Down To The Reception To See Me Was Polite And Efficient. Shame It Takes A Personal Visit To Get A Result. For Ease, The Office Entrance Is Next To The Bradford City Team Shop. You Won't Get Invited Up To Their Offices But Don't Let This Concern You.
I'm Off To The Bank To Cash My Cheque Tomorrow. I Will Post On Here Again When (if) It Clears.

I am owed 3 payments amounting to £217 or there abouts.

I live in the south east near to camberley in surrey. A drive up there would take 3 hours 45 minutes on a good day.

    Cost about £60 in fuel.

Unless we could get say 5 of us together in 1 car then it would be worth the drive. But even then its not guarnteed we would get the money, but looks promising.

Looks like the other way is MCOL then the baliffs!

One thing did they ask for proof of identity when you went in to collect your money? Like photo id?
  • Oxheys, that must be the Vally Parade address, is it? Thay haven't moved again, have they? I decided no to go today as the weather was awful but if MCOL is not back up tomorrow I probably will- anyone else going tomorrow?

Interesting point...No they didn't ask for any I.D at all. I had a printout of the emails I'd received from them confirming that they'd accepted my cashback claim and a copy of my bills with the recorded delivery proof. Thats all I needed. I am lucky that I'm on their doorstep I guess. Why not checkout cheap advanced train travel. I got a ticket to London in December for £12.

Yes they are still at Valley Parade. They occupy three suites there. 3, 4 & 6 I think it was. Anyway you won't get any further than the reception so just ask the lady there to call someone down.

    Good Luck.

    WHOA,
there have been several previous (false) posts that TMO have gone belly-up.
    Lets not panic!
ddd, where have you seen these posts?
Anyone else have any factual evidence to support this?

Sounds like scare mongering to me....
You have missed my point. Im responding to the previous post and meant that there have been many quotes listed on various websites that intimate TMO has gone bust. I was mearly pointing out that evidentally, this can't be true because they are still trading and that 'company house' have issued nothing relating to them, and therefore I suspect individuals of spreading rumours. Hope this clarifies things.

Having finally got back into MCOL, I can see that the Judgement has been issued on the 8/1/08, I stated on that that I demand the payment immediately, however whereas when the claim was issued it said on MCOL that they had 14 days to respond before judgement could commence, theres nothing on there stating when I start the next stage. I am getting ahead of myself but how long do I wait before starting the next stage, as i'm still not confident of getting the money.

Also a further update on my 3rd claim, its now over 45 days late, got acknowledge email on 20/11/07, so LBA was sent on 9/1/08, thought i'd give them a little call yesterday (from work of course), and of course there was a BACS problem thats why I never got it !!! They really must sort that system out :p !! I also gave them a nudge with sending the acceptance mail for my 4th claim that was delivered to them on the 21/12. Watch this space, as I will be calling again next week (Or should I if i've sent the LBA)

If a claim has not been paid despite you complying with the conditions when sending it in to them, then they are comitting a relevant breach of the contract.

This means you can sue them for the whole amount owed to you under the broken contract. (You could have done this with your first MCOL for which you now have judgement).
