dannydandan,
please edit your post & remove all of the unnecessary duplicated info. AND it gives the wrong address of Mobile Matters UK Ltd which may confuse people. Hope you used the correct address from companies house when you submitted your claim....0 -

I have used the Riverdale, Shipley address in my claim on MCOL. Are you suggesting to use the Bradford one? If yes, how do I change it now that the claim has been issued?0 -
When issuing a MCOL you must use a geographical address (not a PO Box).
This can be either the defendant's registered office (if you are suing a company) or the address of the premises you have been dealing with.
You cannot change anything now the claim has been issued, but as the Shipley address was the one they told everyone to use originally, and haven't contacted you personally to tell you about the move, then you have done all you can to address the summons correctly.
As far as changing it goes, then it is too late as the summons has now presumably been served.0 -
I have not kept a copy of my despatch note, but I received my first cashback. i am chasing for cashback 2, which they accepted and confirmed this by email. i sent cashback claim 3 by recorded delivery and this has been signed for. So i have two outstanding cashbacks. Do you still think it is worth me pursing a claim? I have kept the recorded delivery reference numbers.
Lastly, do i just put the address for mobile outlet ltd as riverdale house shipley, as this the one given on my terms and conditions.
Many thanks

Hi, I know all this might have been said already but I with a young baby I dont have the time to read through all those threads and I have read quite a few pages:
Question 1: An LBA, can I just write that letter or does it have to be an official document and if so who does it or where do i get it? If it is something I write could anyone send me an example of what they have written?
Question 2: I had 2 contracts one for myself and one for my husband, both in my name with the mobileoutlet. Now my 4th claims were accepted for both contracts back in septemeber 2007, but not paid yet.
Do they owe me that even if they rejected claim no.5 or does that get invalid as well, even if previously accepted?
Question 3:
One claim got rejected because I was apparently late, but I have a first class recorded strip that it was sent after 10 days of the issue date of bill no. 12. Is that sufficient for the court?
The other claim got rejected because I downgraded. However I downgraded with effect from 17th october and my contract ended 16th of october. My line rental provider have sent me a letter welcoming me to my new downgraded contract that starts on 17th october, is that sufficient proof that I have not breached their contract?
Question 4 and last!:
If I go file a online SCC can I file both claims of my husband and I in one claim evenb if its two contracts as they are both in my name or do I have to pay 30 pounds twice and do two claims.
Thanks for reading through all this and please if you can answer me.Thanks

You are contemplating legal action, but cannot find the time to read through this thread which will give you all the advice needed (free).
Don't start on the legal route without doing some homework and preparation.
Read the thread and the MCOL claimants guide.0 -
I have read quite a bit and done loads of homework in the last few weeks and am still reading, with a crying baby on my lap, am on page 20 and was hoping for a direct reply. So far this did not answer my questions as cases seem different and im unsure as to wether i just write the letter before action or if there are templates or official forms i need to use.
I have written many emails to TMA so far but now going postal route.
I read that i shoukld have used special recorded delivery but i dint know at the time and used first class recorded. Can my claim be rejected, I mean can they claim not to have received in time and actually use that even though I sent it in time?
Is the letter from my line rental provider claiming that I started the new ongoing downgraded contract one day after the old contract (with TMA) ended enough proof that I didn't downgrade too early.
Lastly can two contracts be claimed in one SCC procedure? I really don't think this has been answered before. Can anybody help?0 -

no I'm merely stating that I addressed my MCOL to the Mobile Matters (UK) Ltd registered office (Bradford).
The shipley address has apparently been unoccupied for some time and has a mail redirect in force.
The point I was making in my post was that dannydandan's post listed the MM address as
3 Brander Close,
Idle,
Bradford,
West Yorkshire.
BD10 8SY
which is different to the address listed on companies house.
i.e.
MOBILE MATTERS (UK) LTD
UNIT 6 BANTAMS BUSINESS PARK
VALLEY PARADE
BRADFORD
WEST YORKSHIRE BD8 7DY
Company No. 047877110 -

Mine is the one on 7 Jan 08:D
Where did you come across this information?
The "Satisfied flag" worries me. Does it mean that no-one has actually managed to get money off them through Bailiffs or otherwise?. Can anyone confirm that they have actually recovered cash. I don't want to throw good money after bad.0
