  • Sorry if this has been covered previously but can someone please confirm the correct address to send my cashback claims to.

On my T&C's and Cash Back Vouchers which I received in August 2007 it states the following Address:-

    Line Rental Entitlements(Cashback)
    The Mobile Outlet
    Cashback Dept.
    PO BOX 259
    Shipley
    BD17 7WH

However on their latest T&C's on the Website it states the following address:-

    Line Rental Entitlements(Cashback)
    The Mobile Outlet
    Cashback Dept.
    3/4 Riverdale House
    Dockfield Road
    Shipley
    BD17 7AD

Please advise which address I need to use. Many Thanks from Steve

My husband has suggested a trip to Shipley!!!

Does anyone know if they are open during the weekend??

    Thanks.
    Jeppy,
roadkilluk has suggested that TMO have moved (see this post).
  • does anyone know the non 087 pohone number for TMO that is answered for cashback problems...
has anyone successfully claimed money through MCOL...
what do MTO say about address not updated on their website ? as they have already moved long time back...nor they have updated the phone number... is that not illegal and breach of contract for them to move w/o notifying other party of contract...

    No

Only send claims to the address you have been told to by TMO.

    IS THIS DEFINITELY CORRECT QUENTIN?

    Line Rental Entitlements(Cashback)

SO I NEED TO SEND MY CLAIMS TO THIS ADDRESS NOT THE ONE SHOWN ON THE MOBILE OUTLET WEBSITE NOW?

    Many Thanks from Steve
  • Hi presta35,
Normally, I would have said that you should send it to the address on your T&C BUT I wouldn't be happy sending it to a PO Box.
Check this out on the royal mail portal.
Particularly the "Collecting your mail" section

It also says in the FAQ section

What if mail has to be signed for? If anything has to be signed or paid for, we'll leave an advice card in your PO Box.

Not sure what I would do in your position.....

CPW only uses post box addresses for all it's cashbacks for all its companies - they are quite safe. (Addresses with po boxes I mean - not cpw, osps e2s etc!)

If the address is in the ts + cs for cashback, then use it (they love it if you don't follow the ts + cs).

If you move onto legal action, then a po box address is not sufficient for ther delivery of court documents though.

Thanks for that kltpzyxm but I'm totally at a loss as to where to send it now.
Unless anyone else can advise me, I may as well just stick a pin in to decide or just give up and throw £420 away.

PS I've tried ringing and emailing with the usual unsuccessful outcome. It seems like pot luck whether you actually get your cashback if you do everything perfectly, but without knowing where to send it to it seems to me I haven't even got a hope in hell of getting the money off them!

Thanks from a very frustrated Steve

What is so frustrating about just sticking to the ts +cs? Even when you do, you'll know from this thread that the chances of a smooth transaction are very low.

If it comes to legal action and they can show you haven't, then you will lose your case.
  • Yes but which ts +cs do I stick to. The ones they sent me with the PO BOX 259 address or the ones on their website now with the 3/4 Riverdale House address?

Please Someone on here MUST know where I need to send the Cashback claim to?!?!

    Thanks from Steve

I took out my contract in Oct 2006 and the T&C that came with my phone do not state which address to send cashback claims to, neither does the copy I took from the website on June 20th 2007. The only address referenced in my T&C is for complaints and disputes, and it is the Riverdale House address. I've sent all my claims to the Riverdale House address where they have all been processed and accepted. In the last few claims I sent in, the Riverdale House address had a mail redirect on it so I don't know where they are being redirected to...Royal Mail will not tell you..

Your problem is that the T&C changed on August 1st, and I don't think that anyone who is on these new T&C has had notification of a successful claim.....
If anyone has, please post your experience on here to help presta35....
