She can safely bank the cheque. (Keep a copy of it and the envelope it came in).

She should still progress her claim, and the case will continue over the balance now still owing from the original amount claimed.

Why wouldn't they want their mail?

Trading Standards would not want to pursue them for not being at home when the postman called!

No, I know that :) The letters were letters I wrote to them on the advice of Trading Standards, because my girlfriend didn't receive the vouchers you use to claim the cashback, so the letter says please a) prove that you sent them or b) send them, and if I haven't heard from you in 14 days I'll pursue my case further through trading standards.

So my question is, when do you think the 15 days should start? Really I am just going to chat to trading standards again around the 7th Jan, if I don't have a letter for them, cos that is plenty of time, accounting for holidays etc.

  • Hi

Ive sent my final claim in october. I still have not had an email from them. Ive called them 3 times nows. Its does take a while to get through to there call centre. Once through and you mention a royal mail delivery reference number tehy will say the line is breaking up. This happened to me twice. On the second call i had i told them it was not breaking up as i had been speaking to them for 5 minutes and it was crystal clear. I told him he was lying to me. He then suddenly said you will get an email soon to confirm your payment. I called today and once they get my details i ask them if the line is clear. I also mention "please dont ever say the line is breaking up so you can disconnect me as thats what your previous staff members say." this lets them know that i know what there tricks are.

Hope this helps. Im expecting and email today from them. I would not bet my life on it though.

just checked their website - not only have they lost 3, but it would also appear they've lost o2 now as well......

    Now for the dilemma...

last cb (#5 of 5 STILL outstanding) - is it worth persuing via mcol bearing in mind the increased cost of making the claim ?? we'll see.....

If you go here, and change the Network=6 to any number from 1 through 6, it shows who they currently have offers with.

    http://www.themobileoutlet.co.uk/Network.asp?txtMode=2&txtNetwork=6

Doing it that way shows that they have nothing from O2 and Vodafone, but still appear to have 3. Although like many things with TMO, that is contradicted elsewhere (in this case, by the pictures on the website).

When did O2 disappear? I wrote them a letter about TMO the other day, so it'd be nice to think that they acted upon it :)

Edit: Their website is all over the place. E.g. by looking at 3G phones you can get here:

  • hi
    Merry Christmas to you all.

I have checked the Royalmail site for recorded delivery .
I sent a LBA to TMO shipley address on 15th Dec via first class delivery.
I get the message "Come back later" do it mean they have not received it yet?
The last date on LBA is 31st DEC, Can I still file the claim after 31st Dec?
I am waiting for 2 cash backs which both are over 45 days due now and I have email confirmations too from TMO.

Also please advice me if it would ok if my wife file a claim for her third cashbask (£84) which is not even acknowledged by TMO but was received by them via Special Delivery which was redirected too.
And if can file claim, can she claim for the whole cashback (3x£84) amount even 4th and 5th claim is not even made yet?

    regards
