I think it would be interesting to find out:
a) Has anyone received an email from TMO within the last 10 days (other than an automated reply)
b) Has anyone received any money from them in this time
Im suspicious that they may have closed up shop re cashbacks and are just concentrating on sales.....0 -
Today the RoyalMail website says:
"Your item has reached the delivery office and is out for delivery. The address to which you sent your item has a redirection in force. This means that it will arrive out of the guaranteed timeframe, usually one day later for items sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery."
I called them up yesterday but they wouldn't agree that the address has changed and still promising that they will pay the cashback.

Same for mine too, when I read what it had on there yesterday I thought it meant that a card was left, and TMO would have to go to the Shipley P.O to pick it up  They can only just about reply to an email (pre December) let alone go to a post office to pick up ANOTHER cashback claim :rotfl: . 1 day to go until the 14 days is up from when the MCOL claim was issued to TMO.
Keep you posted.0 -
Hi
Can someone please help me, this lot owe me £170 I have had 2 payments accepted but neither paid. What letters do I need to send and what needs to be done to get my money before they inevitably go bust???
I am in Scotland so I know this changes things slightly but please please help.

You can still use the county court small claims system, but you must give an address in either England or Wales for the court to send correspondence to. (You don't have to live at the address you use).
Or you can use MCOL when it returns from its essential maintenance (on 31/12/07)
Read through the thread for advice on what to do.0 -
Quentin thanks, what letters do I need to send before this can be done? I remember something about letter before action, and other things but don't know exactly what is required.
What is MCOL exactly?0 -
You will find advice on what to do in the thread.
MCOL is money claim on line - an online way of issuing county court small claims, though unavailable till 31/12/07.0 -

Ignore this.
The Mobile Outlet Ltd is nothing to do with TMO being discussed in this thread.
Don't send anything to this Bristol address which is intended for TMO!0 -
surprisingly my sister received today two cheques for two mobile phone contracts from themobileoutlet.
the first cheque was for the 2nd cashback claim (for this contract she has filed a claim in MCOL) requesting full remaining cashback : £336.
and guess what? its what i expected. The cheque is dated 15/11/2007.
Now I was thinking should she cash it or not?
If she does cash it then there is a proof on the check that it was written early although no proof that it was sent on time by them.
But if she doesn't cash it then she can still claim they didn't pay her and she may have a chance of winning the total amount of cashback remaining under the contract. What do u think?0
