Thanks for all this useful advice
Unfortunately I do not have the T&C as it was on the back of the 1st claim i sent in
If anyone has a copy of T&C for OCt 06 I would much appreciate them
However I received my first 3 claims from them only sending in the top part of the bill
For last 2 claims they are reneging on this technicality
I sent the remaining part of the bill to them within the 60 days they now quote on their website but they then sent me a very official letter saying lots of things but basically my claim is void so stop bothering us!
I would like to get copy of the OCt 06 T&C if I can but intend to take them all the way on this if necessary
    See post 1292

I thought i would check Mobile Outlet on Companies House, as I am about to file a claim with Money Claim Online. Their records claims their status is Active - Proposal to Strike off and the Nature of Business is 9999 - Dormant Company. This doesn't sound good. Does anyone know what this actually means? Here is the whole record

This has happened before recently. It is possibly because they are late with their accounts. It could of course be more sinister...
  • Hang on:confused: Isn't this a different company??? Surely the one we all love is Mobile Matters (UK) Ltd, Company number 04787711 ???

PS All Info is in post number 7 on page 1. All new posters are advised to read this.

    This is really irresponsible posting.

You have looked up The Mobile Outlet LTD.

This Mobile Outlet is just a trading name.

Just as One Stop Phone Shop is a trading name - look that up at Companies House, but don't conclude anything from what you find!

The company you are researching prior to suing is a trading name of:

    Mobile Matters (UK) Ltd
    3 Brander Close,
    Idle,
    Bradford,
    West Yorkshire.

    Hi all,

I seem to have a different problem to the usual array of TMO problems, which is that my girlfriend did not receive the vouchers which you have to send back in order to make your claim.

The T&Cs seem a bit confusing on this, as with my contract from September sometime, it quite clearly says that they come in the post, but current T&Cs suggest that they come by email.

    Hi
I signed up for a new phone a fortnight ago. My phone arrived eventually, followed by the vouvhers in the post.

My problem however is that I don't know what's happening with my number port from Orange to T-mobile.

Does anyone know if I can phone T-mobile diorect to make this happen since TMO clearly aren't answering any phonecalls.

Why, oh why, did I go with them???

    .
  • Update on my journey into the mad world of TMO. Called them this morning... New number is 08714273500.

A guy called Austin Williams with a weird Indianish accent replied and walked me through the details of the two cashback accounts I had with them.

He told me that the money owed (that's nearly £600) will be paid into my account in the next few days.

I'll wait till next week to report back and see whether they HAVE kept their word or not.

If not, I will call them back and if still nothing, I will push for legal action because they HAVE accepted in principle that my documents were genuine.
    Links are a man's best friends.com

This new number is a premium rate number and earner for them.

If you get nowhere, and you intend to take legal action to get paid, then it will cost you a lot less to send them a LBA than to ring them again.

Hi, could someone possibly advise of the claims address to send bills back for the mobile outlet cashback claims? I'm having some trouble finding it on here or on the terms and conditions page.

    Thanks.

The address you need, in Shipley, and a whole lot more advice to help you with your claims, is posted on the FIRST page of this thread.
  • I have sent TMO LBA today for paying cashback or face court action after 10 days. I have waited 2 months for my first cashback to be paid.

Now have to read MCOL guide, can people please advice on Do's and Don'ts while filling claim via MCOL.

    Thanks in advance!
