Hi everyone! So happy to see so much activity on here and everyone feeling positive :)

I'm especially glad you're so chirpy ILLT, being like a kid at Xmas is an entirely appropriate way for a 29 yr old to behave IMO!

Congrats in the houseSethisis that's such a big exciting step. We're hoping to buy our first home in the next few months so I'll tap you up for tips! ;)

daisiegg that's a great attitude to have towards TTC, it can be so hard to let your expectations run away with you. I don't know how I'm gonna keep my feet on the ground and your holiday sounds A-mazing! I'm super jealous :D

AFM, OH three me a curve ball last night. I'd spoken to him this week about my whacky charts and my worries about my *ahem* advancing years. He didn't say much but he must have taken it on board cause he said he didn't want to wait any more and he's super keen to TTC before it's too late. So I guess I'll be heading off over to TTC a couple of months early. Scared!

I just want to say a massive thanks to all you lovelies who've made this such a wonderful and supportive board, especially ILLT I hope to see you on the other board in a few weeks. Eeeeek!

    Love to all

EEEEK!!!! GOOD LUCK!!! :D:T:j and enjoy ;)

    Hey lovely ladies :D

Well I had my coil removed yesterday. The lady who removed it said I can see why I needed it to be removed by GA. I am slightly bruised .... ouch.

Apparently when I was coming round the nurse asked me if I was awake and I said no, she asked me if I was a sleep and I said no so she said what was I doing and my response .... playing a piano with a yellow mallard duck!!! WFT .... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Anyways .. It now feels real that in 2 / 3 months we will officially ttc. I am scared. I guess after 17+ yrs trying to not get pregnant it will take some adjusting to letting my defences down to ttc. I keep hoping that I can get pregnant and pop out a toddler as having a baby scares the life out of me some days.

Daisiegg- That holiday sound A-MAZE-ING! I'm totally jealous! States side I've 'only' been to New York and that was 3 years ago, so I'm swooning over your travel plans. Finances aren't really in our favour at the moment to do a big trip but if I'm not pregnant by March- when I will be celebrating the big 3-0 I plan to have a pretty memorable party :)

oh WD!!! I'm so so so excited for you, another graduate! :T:T:T Honestly all the best for your new journey, I hope that your ttc journey a wonderful one. Please do come back and let us know when you get the bfp, I keep my fingers crossed that you have graduated to the pregnant thread by the time I'm over on the ttc boards :D

Cookiee that does sound like an eventful day, but hurray on getting it out! lol on the ducks comment as you came around! he-he! I know what you mean about going from not trying to get pregnant to actually wanting to miss a period, it's a very strange time, and I know everyone who goes on a ttc journey will experience the same thing, it's very strange to be going through that experience personally.

Glad to see some life flowing through these boards, it's my favourite thread :o
Some times you have to hold back to go forward to where you want to be.

    Like a catapolt!
  • WD - amazing news on graduating to the ttc board.
booked my pill check appt yesterday (not for a couple of weeks as I can only do very late appts due to work so end up waiting ages to get in), mentioned to OH that I would need to go and thought I'd oh so subtley drop some hints on when we might be ttc/ntnp with "I'll get 12 months worth and then we can see nearer the time" - he was very non-commital about it. Guess its all a bit sudden for him at the mo, so will see how the home improvements and move towards selling goes and hint again in the spring ;-)

Cookiee - rotfl at your spaced out comments after GA!

Cookiee Yay on having the coil removed! It sounds like you were having fun dreams while it was happening.

Wangdoodle It's good to hear things are moving forward, so quickly too =] It must have been a lovely surprise. Enjoy your TTC journey!

Daisiegg Your holiday sounds wonderful. I'm extremely jealous. Here's to hoping you feel perfectly well and enjoy yourself! Lol at your husband and his 'supersperm' by the way, you never know though - he might be right...

ILLT We're ever so excited, things are in the negotiation stage at the moment. An investor seems to have taken an interest in the property though, so I'm expecting a phone call anytime now saying they've put in a higher offer. Unfortunately there's only so much we can pay, so we might have to go for something else. Viewing all these houses is ever so fun though!
There is hope for us yet

They accepted our offer on the house! On the condition that it's a quick sale, which is perfectly fine by me! Hopefully having a new home to focus on will make the waiting a little easier to bear.

  • Sethisis - congratulations! hope it all goes smoothly for you and you settle into your new home quickly :-)

Hi ladies how are you all?

Did a major clearout of items and made some money :-D Automatically I normally I put it into the debt, however we have decided to make a "baby fund" which all odd money (i.e. 1p, 35p etc) goes into after all the bills are paid. Might seem like small change (of course it is lol) but my friend did this for a year and saved nearly £800!!!

Dreading my 1st AF after the coil as I suffer sever pain :-( Galaxy and rolos on standby ....
