The OP said he took one photo of his willy not plural as tiddlwinks said BUT That is exactly what the OP said happened.
I don't understand why you would want to send a photo of your bits to someone but it takes all sorts to make the world go round.
I'd ring your ex tonight and tell him you believe your son and that neither kids are coming to stay unless he fixes that shelf and doesn't have either child in bed with him if he can't control his inappropriate sexual behaviour for one or two nights !!!!!!.
That sort of behaviour can mess up a childs head wondering why adults do such things, and if school pull you aside to tell you that your son has mentioned this then l'd make sure your ex went in to apologise - if he has the b*lls.
To your son l wouldn't offer and explanation other than people do stupid things, just say 'l wonder why he did that' - 'that's silly isn't it?'

I have two boys of 4 & 7. They spend time with their dad on alternate weekends which usually includes an overnight stay. Their dad has a two bedroom flat and the boys share a room when there or so I thought.
I picked the boys up this morning from their dads and gave him a lift to work (I'm way too generous!) Just as we were pulling in to where he works DS1 says laughingly "Daddy sent a picture of his willy with a message to someone on his phone!" His dad instantly denied it but DS1 was insistent. DS1 also added that he had sent a picture of the "ring on his boobie too" he has his nipple pierced. Again ex denied it and went off to work obviously not impressed.
...........
Well roll on to this afternoon and the boys and I are at my parents and DS1 tells his nana exactly the same thing. It then comes to light that he managed to see it as he sleeps in his dads bed, apparently there is a shelf over DS1s bed that is half hanging off the wall so he can't sleep there, and his dad thought he was asleep so was doing this unaware that DS1 was watching.:(
Two photos... two different body parts... both described by the 7 year old.Tiddlywinks wrote: »So... It's not just '7 year old exposed to inappropriate photos' is it?
Your son was in the same room, awake and watching his dad take photos of himself doing whatever he was doing? Is that right? If so, that is even worse than just seeing the pictures.
This is more than an error of judgement; your ex should have had enough self restraint to abstain whilst his son was in the room. Thinking he was asleep is no excuse... as he could have woken at any time if he had actually been sleeping.
I asked 'is that right' to clarify if the OP knew whether her son had seen the photo being taken or just that his dad had retrieved an old photo.
However... how does a supposedly sleeping child get close enough to his dad to see not only the phone screen BUT the content of two different photos... and then be able to describe them... all without dad realising he was awake? Really?
I find it hard to believe that that could happen.
Even if it did happen that way, who really thinks that 'sexting' whilst your 7 year old is lying beside you is acceptable?:hello:0 -
I wouldn't care if child was asleep, he still shouldn't be demonstrating sexual activity in front of him, it's not right, do that sort of thing in private where there's only the folk who want to indulge and see it, why the Dad felt it was ok is beyond me.0

This is what I was thinking it does seem like he took the photos whilst 7 year old was thier as how else would he know what he was doing on two seperate photos? Would the 7 year old really pretend to sleep to see what his Dad was doing? It doesn't add up to me. I suppose it depends on the 7 year old but I know my 9 year old brother wouldnt have that thought process if he woke up he would start asking questions straight away not think to himself if I keep quiet Ill be able to see what he's up to kind of thing without him knowing.People don't know what they want until you show them.0 -

What??? Are you serious?
Taking (or looking at) a photo of your penis whilst your 7 year old is next to you in bed is verging into sexual activity... particularly as it appears to have been sent to someone else...
Why do you think he did it? Texting NHS Direct about a nasty little rash he wanted them to look at?:hello:0 -

No it isn't.
"Daddy sent a picture of his willy with a message to someone on his phone!"
DS1 also added that he had sent a picture of the "ring on his boobie too"
he says he saw photos of his willy whilst he was in bed with him
There's a world of difference in getting an erection and taking a photo of it when your child is lying in bed next to you and sending a photo that is already on your phone.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Did l miss the part where the OP said his willy was erect? How did the son know it was his dads willy on the photo then?
