  • They sent the one about it being paid a few days ago then this morning I got a electronic form to fill in with bank details and it said it should be paid within 6 weeks. If you've had the first one saying it's being settled you'll probably get the bank details one today

  • Thanks for that. :)

I actually sent an email response anyway but didn't include bank details.

I was nervous about sending bank details through email so I'm glad I waited

Yep, got them and returned email.

I've had to contact them too though, as one of the claimants is our daughter who is only 8, so I've just put down my details, but I put her name down as the signature.

    Hope that's okay.

    Generally a 27% reduction plus a 25€ admin fee.
But I worked it out by the amount (400 euro) divided by 1.25 exchange rate (to £320) -£25 costs = £295.

You seem to have missed the 27% fee mentioned in 111KAB's post.
  • Got an email on Friday, saying that the money would be paid into our bank in the next 5 days (not sure if it includes weekend and taking into account the holiday).

    Happy Bunny!! :)

That must be why I thought it would be £180 odd originally. I must have missed it out. Still not bad though. It all depends which way they work it out.

  • The email came through for the second person to say there's will be coming through in 5 days too. I think it will be after Christmas now, but it's still not bad really
