Can you give any details regarding airline and when you first went to bott n co?

Yeah Thomas Cook, Corfu to East Midlands in June 2013. Had a 5 hour delay and they knew beforehand as they had typed letters beforehand. It makes the wait worth it as it should pretty much cover next years holiday:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

I went to bott n co August 2013. I originally wrote myself, but they said 'extraordinary circumstances' as they did most of us. I thought I just don't have the time so thought a bit of something is better than a lot of nothing and decided on signing up to Bott n co. Have had a few generic emails (but they needed to wait realistically until the last main court case for any news) and received the email today to say it should be settled in 42 days, so in time for me booking Italy:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

So well done Bott & Co for sorting things for you.
Firstly, I have no connection whatsoever with Bott & Co.
Secondly, The reason that some airlines are settling cases is as a direct result of the legal action that Bott & Co have taken against them, the words Huzar and Dawson spring to mind.
Thirdly, Can you image how many hundreds, no doubt thousands of cases they are dealing with. It was posted by Monarch that they had 900+ cases that they were dealing with, admittedly not all through Bott.
Fourthly, if Bott & Co had lost the Huzar case can you image the financial impact on a relatively small law firm from Wilmslow?
I'm not going to bother with a fifth point the first 4 should be enough! After reading PtL Vaubans Guide , please don't desert us, hang around and help others!

Does anyone know what the payout figure is minus what Bott take? We had a long haul flight delayed by 26hrs...apparently we should see the money before Xmas, but I'm trying to budget a bit. We flew with Thomson. X0

Generally a 27% reduction plus a 25€ admin fee.0

Ours was 400 euro so I recogn with deductions it will be around £295. 600 euro would be about £455 I recogn and 250 euro would be about £175. I'm basing it on exchange rate about 1.25. It might be more or less depending when they calculate the exchange rate. I worked it out wrong before though.
But I worked it out by the amount (400 euro) divided by 1.25 exchange rate (to £320) -£25 costs = £295.:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one:beer::beer::beer:

I've just had the email for one of them and they get you to add your bank details online in a similar letter to the one that we filled in for them to take the case on, just with different boxes for bank numbers etc:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

Yep, got the email too vs Thomas Cook.
It does ask for your bank details, although not sure how you managed to get a form filled in, did you request it?
I was pretty sure I may have already filled something in at the beginning, but not sure, I'll need to see my trail.0
