As all the kitchen spammers seem to be promoting the same site, can MSE not complain to that sites management?
After all, no reputable company would want to annoy Martin and his minions, no?
Or, can we not spam them? Childish suggestion, I know.
They're are currently active. Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -

It's not just a case of posting links so that people will go to their site. They are probably also hoping that some of their posts will be missed, and that when they are allowed to post links then there will be external links on a popular site, that will improve their google rankings.
This may work on some forum sites. But obviously not here.0 -
they have actually just changed the name of the site they are promoting by adding a 1 to get round a block that was put on them by someone.
There is no point in complaining to the site the spammers are promoting as they are not directly employed by that site, these guys are mostly based in the far east and just cut & paste the messages.
9 times out of 10 they will not even try to use the registered name again as they know it has been blocked, they don't (possibly can't) read any replies to the posts and get paid a pittance for posting hundreds of messages on various forums all over the place.0 -
I searched for them and google found lots of forums complaining about their spam. Do they actually expect to sell kitchens this way?0

Like I said, it is probably more to do with inbound links from popular sites, that will push their google rankings up.0 -

Presumably if they are not spending their own valuable time posting these messages, they are paying someone else to, even if it is a pittance.
So either it is bringing in extra sales, or they will soon stop.
Most spam relies on success rates of less than about 0.01%. So if they manage to sell just one more kitchen in 10,000 spams, they are onto a winner presumably.0 -

Does any popular site allow spamming to remain for very long?
Most other forums are actively moderated (as well as having a report feature). We're led to believe this site relies on offending items being reported before they are reviewed, hence possibly why the spammers like this site so much.
On some sites (and I don't think this site is any different) people nowadays prefer to let the spam and other nonsense that often goes on remain - have you looked at HUKD site recently as a prime example?
I too have given up with reporting anything to the ForumTeam here. It's just too much trouble I'm afraid.0
