Boo hiss to Barclaycard - I only applied for it because of the 0% for a year offer and I told the chap when I was filling out the form that I'd want to transfer about £2000 onto the card when I got it. When it arrived, the credit limit was £260 and I was told it couldn't be changed for 3 months - saw the notice here and in the T&C about the 60 day limitation on the offer and promptly phoned them back. Adam from customer services did his best and even used the phrase "bit stingy of them isn't it?!" but even he couldn't help. So now I'm lumbered with another footprint in my credit record and a useless piece of plastic! Think I'm on 1.9% with MBNA, might have to do a bit of eyelash-fluttering their direction...
