I hope the offer is still available jujst about to post the application or should I take it to the branch ?
I really doubt I will get this late , but whatever.
A little confused do I have to balance transfer on the application form or can I do that when the card arrives ?.
thks in advance'The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides with the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who in the name of charity and good will shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon those with great vengeance and with furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.0 -
I have already received a visa 0% and tried to get the premiership 0% card, had a reply today saying they cannot consider my application at present, as I have only been a Barclaycard account holder for a short time, but that I may reapply at a later date (when the 0% for life offer finishes)
I thought I had read others of you had got both cards?
Do you think its worth phoning BC , has anyone had any luck changing their minds?
Thanks for all your advice.0 -
Hi Mistralfow,
No you don't have to put the balance transfer amount on the application form. You can do it when you activate your card

I have to say that I am a little dismayed. As detailed in my earlier post I was given a pathetic credit limit of £640 odd pounds. I then as suggested rang the customer service up to try and get some of the credit limit on my other card moved to this card but predictably they said it will be reviewed after 3months when the 0% offer goes. I even uses the loyal customer of 13years argument but they said the computer stops them from increasing the limit. "There is nothing they can do". I am considering now to vote with my feet. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

8)Another slant on the continuing saga,Received my premiership card today with a £10.750 limit.
I contacted Ben (Have Surname ) who told me i can have £5.000 @ 0% & spend 1/month.
I can have another £ 5.000 @ 0% but must spend £50/month.
Is there anyone out there who can confirm this is correct
Rgds

That really depends on the T&C on the form you applied on. They reserve the right to make changes but should (in theory) honour what they offered you. I suspect there is no form saying 0% for life on up to 5000 if you spend £1 or more if you spend £50.
Frankly I am fed up with them. The service is haphazard and shoddy and I feel many of us are getting mucked about. I appreciate we aren't the best bunch of customers to attract but it was BC who made the offer and they really should have to stick to the terms of it. Just my 2p...0 -
I agree with Galstonian, and the more we all vote with our feet the more likely they are to get the message.
I wonder how many it will take for them to start offering better deals to stay?
But like Ade, my £950 credit limit isn't worth having, so unless the up it considerable, and give me the 0% deal which was definitely on offer when I applied, then I'm off asap.0 -
I've received my Barclaycard with 0% interest for life with £1 min spend and have been given a credit limit of £4,800.
After transferring £3,000 from other credit cards I am left with £1,800 which I would like to credit to my personal account. I know this is possible from reading other posts, but I don't know how to go about it. Anyone help? ???0
