Michelle, Pigpen's right, accidents are just that, I'll share my worst, moving house (pre flying) clutter everywhere and carpets not fully fitted. DP was carrying a TV (big one) across the room, tripped and it landed on 6 month old DS1s face. Thankfully he was in his car seat as we though this was safer, which took most of the impact as you could see from the dents but he was knocked clean out for quite some time and he still has nose bleeds now, all started that day. Was the worst day of my life.

See these things happen to all of us, doesn't make you a bad Mam.

Anyway, early posting of tomorrows list again as will probably be late when I get back.

Kept the boys off today as they said they 'didn't feel well' but they were fine by lunch time. So took advantage of them being off, got hairs cut, last hols clothes etc bought and 2 little suitcases for them, one each! Method in madness - they can tow their own!! Anyway, got most of their stuff packed, bathroom done quickly (will do again Sunday before we go away) PC rooms almost finished will complete when I get in.

Right, swimming in about 5 minutes so best get a wriggle on.
One day I might be more organised...........

I'll echo what the others have said .... don't feel guilty. My OH dropped our DD out of her carseat onto the gravel drive. I was picking bits of dirt out of her face for ages. She's 8 now - no scars and non the worse for the ideal. Bless them!

    Hiya!
Sending some energising vibes to those of you with flat batteries today, I seem to be getting perkier as the week goes on, I'm usually on my last legs by Friday. It's been a quiet week work-wise so I've been co-ordinating my team and we've been ..Flying and Flinging! I love it! Think I'm maybe in the wrong profession.

Welcome back Emmie, wondered where you'd gone but you've obviously had stuff to deal with. I hope things go well.
Aimeelister, I'l have a look for your Fengshui post.I've decluttered 'til there's not much left but I'm sure my 'flow' is 'stagnant'. (No jokes please Ladies)

To those of you who think you've done nothing it's only because you've done other things which are just as valuable even if they've been indulgent or giving time to other people.

Gawd, am being too philosophical for even myself tonight. In a right old PollyAnna mood! Feel free to take the P.:rotfl:

Off to do the bathroom. I love doing the bathroom.

Have a lovely evening doing what you're doing.

Well I'm quiting for the night, apart from the dishes & bringing the washing in. :D Also popped in to brag a ickle bit ;) DD cooked tea tonight - savoury mince - and it was delicious :j:j Okay she didn't do the whole thing herself but she supervised when I was doing bits (like putting in garlic powder ;) ) and told me when to stop and she picked out the herbs/spices to put in....I'm hoping she's a natural and can teach me a couple of things :rotfl::rotfl: I'm now off to rescue the kitchen and bring the dry washing in.

KICK for you Aimeelister. Go do some stuff.

Finished in the bathroom, going to watch Springwatch (more viewers than BB apparently) while my tea is cooking.
A little ironing later, there'd be more but I can't get the washing dry.

    Hello everyone,

Sorry ive been missing, but since taking on my new LO, my routines have completely gone to pot!!! Desperatly need to start catching up, and now im watching 'how clean is your house' i feel like i really need to do some dusting!!! (and my house def doesnt look like his!!!)

Must admit, everywhere is still tidy, im keeping up with my dailies, its just the main things i need to get into a new routine with. At the moment, im doing nothing at the begining of the week, and then rushing around at the end of it - the good weather isnt helping either, much nicer to play with the LOs than stay inside cleaning.

So, hopefully tomorrow i will catch up with everything, and as ive invited DDs friend over for a sleepover Saturday night, i want to get everything done before then. Will let you know tomorrow if i succeed!!!

Michelle - dont worry about Charlie, you did nothing wrong - i went to pick up Kieran in his bouncy chair when he was 12 weeks old, hadnt strapped him in, and i swear he lunged forward, and fell onto the floor. 2 hours later when his dad came home, i was still crying, he was happy as Larry!!!

Ok, hope everyone has a lovely evening - if you notice me loitering tomorrow, give me a kick please!!!
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I was being a bit tongue in cheek by saying i felt like a bad mummy. I only felt bad for about half a minute until i had checked his head and couldn't even see a mark apart from a red patch on his ear, and then realised it was just the shock.

In fact, i am viewing it as a valuable lesson for him as it will teach him earlier about perspective and heights. :D;)

And that is probably not the worst thing that will ever happen to him, so no harm done.

DH is still gallavanting, so i have had anthea, and now how clean is your house on,making the most of it. I've also just had some cookie dough ice cream, and i guess i should now tackle the washing up as i don't think he will want to do it when he gets in. Might as well take it easy on him for a change

Will update the list in a bit before bed.

not sure when you are going lil-me, but have a lovely time, and you will be missed. I'll do my best to keep everyone going!

Evening, gosh it seems lots of people are going through it today so lots of hugs and like Solwaykid am send positive vibes out! Have been out most of the day, so I could get in shower this morning I had to clean ensuite to make it okay for DS to roll on floor so I could watch him so that made me do in there, gave main one a wipe with stardrops inlc. tiles, etc so not through scrub but enough. Ended up being treat to a lovely lunch out and then did a bit of shopping for myself and bits we needed so have had a fab day! Only thing is found out my dads op on his arm has gone wrong and hes been readmitted next week for them to try again, hes got a brain condition and is on loads of meds so am worrying now about him 'going under' again:rolleyes:

Poohbear - hugs, take it easy and feel better soon
Polly bear - sorry you didn’t get your nap, hope you feel a bit better - hugs
Saversarn - don’t worry if things fall behind on flying, other things are more important, hope your DD is doing okay with her exams and hope your doggie is okay
Michelle - Please don’t beat yourself up too much, if he’s anything like Sam, give him half a second and hes off! I’ve done far, far worse (can’t bring myself to admit it on here so well done, only DH and I know about) and still feel incredibly guilty about I did/didn’t do so know how you feel, reading that others have accidents too helps. Echo what others say Accidents happen, give him a few years and I bet he gets himself in some right scrapes. My MIL admitted my DH fell off bed and bumped his head at 7 months, had no effect on him and hes very clever and has several degrees including a masters in Law so a little bump does nothing - though please no one tell DH I think hes clever! :rotfl: Hugs

    Debt-free and Proud!
Am becoming progressively more addicted to site - it's like once you've decided to make a change, you can't get enough isn't it? Anyway, someone on debt-free wannabe was saying they were doing a bit of flylady so I had to come and find out what they were on about.

It's great, I did level 1 on Mon and Tues plus some other stuff I was already in middle of, level 2 on Wed and level 3 today :j .

It spread as well, have washed and ironed up to date, I could go on and on, haven't been this organised since DS2 was born (2 and a half years ago!).

    So thanks everyone!:T

Tomorrows list is taken care of because have just(last weekend) finished decorating DS1 and DS2's rooms and DD does her own so I may go and take care of some of those extra levels from early in the week?

Have a great holiday next week lil_me.
