We're off to Blackpool, nothing flash but it's a break isn't it. My partner this weekend will no doubt mutter 'are you tidying up for burglars?' because I HATE coming back to loads to do, so no doubt I'll be flying about like a looney over the weekend.
I also have my 'To do before holiday list' which I am getting there with but this lot still to do

Considering I've done loads of it, OMG!!! Well there is 3 days to go and that to do aswell as boys room (which is a complete tip!) dailies and mad dash clean of downstairs. Thought would list here so can cross off and keep myself right. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
evening all.
My sister fell out of the car when she was less than a year old, obviously no such things as car seats and such lark. My parents didn't even notice, wasn't until someone (think it was one of my mum's brothers who was outside to wave goodbye) picked her up and came running down the street with her that they stopped the car !!
Feeling very down and tearful this evening. Work is getting more stressy, I really could do with a holiday, I think the whole house and relationship situation is beginning to sink in and get to me. I think I am just going to go to bed, tomorrow being another day and all that.Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0 -
((hugs)) Shirley, hope you feel a bit better tomorrow, I'm off to bed too, should have gone ages ago.One day I might be more organised...........

big higs to shirley park - tomorrow is another day!!
finished marking at 11, and i am a bit further on than i thought, and £46 richer from selling things on ebay, so i have just emailed on the invoices, and checked facebook, and found a friend, and a potential stalker! i've emailed them to ask where i know them from as i can't be too careful who i give personal info to with being a teacher.
Just updating, and then i will be off to bed. Think as i have actually got a bit more done than i wanted to, i may actually go to playgroup in the morning and try to spend a bit of time with my sisters as i haven't seen them for over a week. Plus it will do mr chuckles good to get out again as we haven't been for a good few weeks.

The thread is on another Message board and its "why do we have Halloween on the 31st of October every year?" :rotfl: I can cope with the "where do babies come from" it's the more obscure ones I puzzle over...and google is a lifesaver for me :rotfl: Don't know if you will be able to view this or not but here's the link anyway : http://www.slemen.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8601

Yesterday, DS asked me what colour *that symbol* isNo bally idea
, but as you say, thank goodness for Google and Wikipedia :T
I think this started when the Small Penguins were a lot smaller and were really surprised when I knew things. I explained that all Mummies know absolutely eveything, as they go to Mummy University before their children are born. They now know I'm a fraud
Off to look at my list, catch you all later, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Good morning everyone,
Well, i have my washing on already (have stripped DDs bed) and after posting last night, i spent an hour cleaning - my living room, hall and kitchen are now spotless (but wont last long after the children get up/LO gets here) but i feel so much better for doing it all. At some point i need to get upstairs and hoover - ive also sold some stuff on ebay (made about £50, so really pleased) so will need to pack it all up and get to the PO - that will also help the huge pile in my bedroom, something else i wont have to hoover around anymore.
Well, better get moving, or none of it will be done (am also hoping to do some paperwork, but not holding out much hope today)
Have a lovely day,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Morning early birds,
Shirleypark, I really feel for you at the mo, the sooner it's resolved the better. I spent 5 months living with my ex after he decided we'd split up and until we could sell the house, I asked him to move out eventually 'cos it was sending me quite crackers. Could you both maybe take alternate weekends staying away with a friend just to save your sanity?
AnW'smum, glad Wednesday went well for you all. You've done a good job there. ((hugs))
Welcome lemanie, and well done!!
Michelle, take care replying to stalkers, I had a wierdo mailing me through Friends re-united claiming to be at my Uni asking me if I was still in touch with X, Y, Z who I'd never heard of. He stopped mailing but you can't be too careful once they have your e-mail address.
Lil_me, if I don't catch you again before you go have a FABULOUS hols and a good relax. Have a paddle in the sea for me!
Got to split, I'm so addicted to this site I'm starting to be late for work.

solway emailed them through the other website so they don't actually have my email address. Know what you mean though. Don't want to have to deal with any weirdos as well as everything else i have to do.
Anyway, a quick one from me as i want to be out in anout half an hour and i've got to get me and Charlie ready. (he is a good boy, he said mum this morning when DH was changing him in the bathroom - although i think he doesn't know what it means, i've just said it to him a lot)
