Well see the kick did work for a bit. I also did sit down and sort through all my CDs. I went to dust the electricals bit and thats where my CDs are and they were really dusty so i thought i would clean them. I went to do that and looked at them and realised i hadnt played any for ages, so i decided to get rid of them. So ive copied them onto my computer (about 25 of em!) and they can now go to a car boot sale. The ones i wanted to keep are now in my TV cabinet so my CD stand can go too! (i think the feng shui de-clutter things sort of rubbed off!)
So my plan of campaign is to complete the above today. Then over the weekend im going to see what i can de-clutter some more!!! There will be nothing left in my house, which in all honesty cant be a bad thing as its less to dust!!!
Have a lovely day everyone!0 -

Baby on board!:D0 -
Another bad nights sleep here so I'm really not in the mood to do much at all. I had a flu-like bug and I thought it had gone but it's come back with a vengance so I'm back on cold-relief capsules and hot-toddys (OH won't be happy though as there's only a tiny bit of whiskey left
It has been open since about October though and we've both been drinking it!). To top it off DD has developed a cough & sore throat since yesterday morning so she's on the Buttercup Syrup and plenty to drink
I really need to get my flylist for the week done as I want to spend next week working on the school website as I'm up to the links pages and I need to sort out the menus & photos as well. The time consuming thing is getting the pages set out right as I need to be able to edit it on a weekly basis for the newsletters etc
Cheating with my list as it's a copy and paste from my word-flylist which I keep on my desktopWill have to try and work out what I have done this week

Thanks everyone, I am sure we'll have a fab time, thanks to the MSE money saving ideas etc we've managed to save up over a grand, which I am really impressed with, so we're going to have one hell of a holiday
There is also some holistic therapy sessions on so I might let DP take the kids swimming etc while I go and be pampered! With saving up so much we're also going to detour to Chester Zoo on the Friday which we have visited once but very late in the day so didn't get round it all which the boys are looking forward to.
Anyway, downside is so much to do and so little time. Took the dogs out for an hour this morning after getting the boys to school as won't have time later. DP getting up about 11am so will crack on with the major jobs then as there is no chance I am tackling his shed alone!!
AnWsMum pleased to hear things went well
Pigpen fab idea with the deal with the kids, must do that myself!
Shirley hope you're feeling better todayOne day I might be more organised...........

Nicki.. why on earth do you have 'write to do list' on your huge long to-do list??? .. lol..
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I know it sounds stupid...but I need to get some things from the school and give them a list of the things I need, so I need a to-do list for them to work from although they will probably suggest I shove it somewhere the sun don't shine  If I write a list out then every time I go into school (as opposed to just dropping off/picking up DD) then I can ask for something but if I don't write a list I'll forget;)
I guess I better get of my bottom and do something as all I've done is checked how much money OH has in his bank account

Hello everyone and especially newbies and those returning.
Half the bathroom to do today, DS room, spare room and hoovering the landing and stairs.
Plus paperwork type things I've been putting off all week.
Hugs to all that need one, big one for Shirley. If you need to get out the house for an hour at the weekend let me know and we could try and sort out that cuppa!
Harder than I thought to get back into the swing of things this week, but then adoption stuff taking priority in my mind and my poor little brain can't cope with too much info!:rotfl:
Have a great day everyone....it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

Hope you have a good holiday lil_me
Morning all
Dusted living room and computer desk (in hall) and vacuumed right through downstairs.
One load of washing hanging on the line.
Spent an hour in spare bedroom. In my mind it's still my son's room even though he left home a few years ago. But he said last month that he doesn't think if this as home any more (which made me a bit) so I've been up there boxing up his books and stuff to go in the loft. Which will mean I can put my DVDs and videos on the shelves in the spare room and have more room for my books.
Just moving stuff around really, but I've already been through my stuff and got rid of anything I won't watch/read again so it's just a case of making it tidier.
Now I've got to get somebody to put the boxes up in the loft for me (I don't do ladders) and then I can start moving my stuff around.0
