ooow just a thought does the AC make a big difference should I be opening windows instead?

not much difference between A/C on and windows shut or A/C off and windows open.

    Is this thread for real?

take all the seats out other than yours and still push it the last hundred or so miles

If you've got a hand fan, take that with you. Driving with the windows down is a no-go for economy.

Not sure driving with a hand fan in your hand is the best idea either. Losing control of the vehicle isn't great for economy either ;)

Even being generous with the possible mpg you could get out of that thing. You wouldn't make it more than 361 miles on £50.

IN that case, I suspect you will get about 5 miles out of the £50 worth of diesel you put in it, since it's a Petrol car.

FOrd have never made an ST220 with a diesel engine. They've all been 3.0 V6's.

So, OP, what car do you have?
    A mondeo with a 2.2 diesel
    Or a Mondeo with a 3.0 V6?

Top trolling though, seriously. Good work. If my time was worth something, I might care that you'd wasted it.
