Do you lie?

Yes I lie when it comes to DOB. I've been caught out a few times when I'd forgotten my password & they wanted to know my DOB, I couldn't remember which one I'd used. Also having a daft FB name can prove embarrassing when having to collect a parcel & having no ID. I draw the line at telling sob stories though as I'd hate to win because someone felt sorry for me.0

I lie every time I do the mag daillies and get the one where the only way to opt out is to say "I don't like competitions"0

.....and now I know why wins are so far and few between these days then. Perhaps I too should start entering as my child/grandchild/pet/lamp/car/ashtray ..... mindboggling.A closed mouth gathers no feet.0

No I do not lie on competition entries, if I am not eligible to enter I do not enter. There are plenty of other comps that I can enter with out lying. As far as I am concerned making a fake ID up to enter comps is cheating. I do not live in a fantasy world and dont make up silly imaginary stories to win comps either. You dont need to lie to win things - I have had 21 prizes this month including an ipad mini and a 3DS with no lying. Stay positive, act positive and positive things will come to you!0

Its all about morals at the end of the day if u have them u dont lie simple0

Wow, now I know why I don't win all that often - I'm honest.
This is why the likes of Carol C-S and Emma Cella are so hated by those of us who actually have morals. Entering in your pets name !!!!!!?!0 -
The thing that's most depressing about spending so much time entering all these competitions is the realisation of how big a % of the prizes are won by people who quite systematically enter multiple times in other people's names.
I'd like to think more and more companies check IP addresses and do other verification checks. Weirdly though, it's the big companies that seem to care the least whereas things like blog competitions seem to care the most about whether winners are genuine.0 -
I don't know how people remember all the AEs/DOBs/names/emails/Passwords etc. My memory's rubbish. I forgot my PayPal password earlier ... arrrghh, major panic!!0
