Another question for NSK - my DS is registered for sports club twice this month, I have already paid for these classes. If I don't spend anything else that day, is that a SFD?

:oI've amended my debt total to include the items I put on the CC this weekend. I'm using this month's wage and my wage on the 19th July to pay this off so it looks a lot but is more than manageable. It also includes some left over from June's challenge as I'm still waiting for that pesky CC statement:)

Quick question from me, I have to change the surname on my driving licence which incurs a small cost.

Last week i sent off my licence to be changed into my married name - it was free?

    Budgets - Food £50, Petrol £30, Spends £40.

Evening everyone :) Well, that's day 1 under our belts, only another 30 to go!! A SFD for me today, only because I got delayed at work and couldn't be bothered with the supermarket run when I got home. Tomorrow will be my first July Spendy when I hit Tesco, Asda and Sainsburys (they're all on the same road and I have carefully calculated which store has the best price for my shopping list - plus I have a £2 off £20 till spit for Sainsburys). My budgets are carefully balanced and look like:

    Food: £80
    Petrol: £50
    Misc: £100
    Holiday: £150

I finished June with change in my purse and I aim to do the same in July!
  • Evening everyone! And a very happy July to you all.

Please count me in for yomping.

I am starting off as I mean to go on with a lovely SFD :j

I need to go food shopping some time this week, going for £50 budget again. Food might get a bit samey towards the end of the month but I have plenty in the freezer.

Just need to stay off the crisps and wine. And the sodding co-op had posh ice cream on half price last week so obviously I had to buy some. None of that behaviour this month thank you very much!

ETA- just seen Siouxsie's post above - I am away at the end of the month but it's all pre-planned so does the cost of that count as budgeted or should I include the various aspects as spends?

Hi all...My spend day today The Big A and Mr T shopping .. should take me through to middle of month..plus my stores..hardly touched from June..5poff a litre petrol due to the spends at Mr T so ..a full tank and under the £50 budget..
Need to factor in two cheap weekends in at £40 each two breakfasts out ;-) at £10 each....
So I reckon I am going to come in so much under budget ?...when I work it out.
All figures to be posted tomorrow as I had a grand daughter born today who is so cute, as they all are, that I have been celebrating with all ..so need to focus a little more than I can at the mo'
    Celebrations babe.....c'mon <big claps>

    Hi all

Day 1 done and dusted:). I have a weekend away planned and 1 dinner out this month.

I'm going to declare that my debt free date will be 28 Aug - so now that it's down in print then I guess I have to stick to it.

    Groceries: £0/£100
    Misc: £0/£40
    SFD: 1/20

Question: I take my nephews swimming on Thursdays and I took the money out of my account yesterday for the month. Are these all spend days?? I think you are going to say Yes:o

  • I've just been and put liquid gold in the car (double petrol costs are not helping my stress levels even slightly).
As I was at M0rrisons it would have been rude not to do an entire yellow sticker shop for £5.60. I will barely need to shop again this month - I've done so well on yellow stickers whilst I've been off work.
So July 1 is not my 1st sfd. Tomorrow should be.

Congrats Mr Cobes on new DGC

First SFD for me, going to do to my monthly shop tomorrow and then just top up week by week.

At last I finally have my new specs, I just wish I could see through them, they are varifocals and when I first put them on it was like having a lot to drink :rotfl:but it is getting easier as the night goes on, so I will have to keep up the gin to get the same effect:rotfl:

Had a quiet but busy day at work, just how I like it, just enough to keep you going without getting bored, anyway off for a look round the forums
