The only way to console myself that I have no summer clothes having last bought some three years ago is that when the time comes I can buy some without being in debt.. then gloat for all its worth. It will be worth it in the end.........
Oh my goodness, I think my jaw would have been on the floor. And yes, you will have earned every single syllable of that gloating!
In other news, my new CC came today :j. Not as irresponsible as it sounds, it is the tatco one with 0% on balance transfers (and new purchases...shhhh), so I have just activated it and requested the transfer. Whoop!
And SFD number 7 today“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”

Just a quickie from me.. left my phone at work (dunce), been for a steam and sauna, made a black eye bean thingy which is awful but I will eat it anyway - just bland... and sat in the sun for a bit today.. aren't I SO MUCH FUN! Lol!..At least I earned myself an SFD..
See you all tomorrow..“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. OMG!!!!!!! Congratulations!October make £10/day currently £11.020 -
Morning! Yesterday was a planned SFD, nearly gave in when I got hungry and had eaten all my lunch, however, my Dad went out and bought ice buns back for all the office which meant I didn't have to go out myself! Thanks Dad!
Today I am going to attempt the shopping tonight, after my abortive mission on Monday I'm hoping today will be more successful!
I have run out of things to make lunch with, so I will nip out in my break to get things for today and the rest of the weeks lunches. This will come out of my budget for shopping today.
Hope everyone has a good day.October make £10/day currently £11.020 -
Congratulations thriftylass - awesome news!
Hoping for SFD #5 here as I have all my meals prepared and don't need to buy anything at lunchtime. Only 15 days until payday so I won't make my target, never mind - I'll get as close as I can.
Put on a batch of Easiyo yoghurt this morning as finished off my first batch with some banana for breakfast. Pea and feta frittata with potato wedges for tea. Salad for lunch from home. We had a conference at work the other day and they left loads of bags of crisps behind so we have a big box in the office, have managed to get enough for snacks this week which stretches out the pack of 12 I bought for work long enough to last a full month!
